Lindsay Lohan Battles Pregnancy Rumors, Following Accusations Of Abuse
After spending time away from the Hollywood limelight and from the U.S. altogether, Lindsay Lohan is back, and once again, it seems she’s attracted bad times as a result. Lohan once expressed feeling better living in Europe, away from the pressures of stardom, and it seems there was something to that, because Lindsay now finds herself at the center of pregnancy rumors, ignited by her own father, and suggestions that she’s returned to her old ways of alcohol abuse. This all comes on the heels of earlier assertions made by Lohan that her long-time boyfriend and fiancee, Egor Tarabasov, has been abusing her, resulting in the couple “taking a break” from one another.

While Lindsay Lohan is trying to jump start her acting career with the upcoming Tiago Mesquita horror film, The Shadow Within, it isn’t her film career that keeps Lohan’s name popping up in the media. In the most recent drama surrounding Lindsay’s life, People reports that her father, Michael Lohan, is concerned for the actress, insisting that she’s pregnant and has been seen smoking cigarettes, despite assertions to the contrary. While Michael does say that she is pregnant and has been smoking, he strenuously opposes other gossip that Lindsay has also been spotted drinking beer.
“She’s not drinking, she was smoking and I talked to her about that,” Mr. Lohan says.
Sources close to Lindsay have since rebutted Michael’s claims that his daughter is pregnant and smoking. In spite of the statements made by Ms. Lohan’s friends, Michael maintains that his daughter is, in fact, pregnant.
“The last communication that I had was she told me she was pregnant. I don’t know anything other than that. I believe my daughter,” the elder Lohan says. “I don’t think she’d lie to me about something like that. But yeah, she’s smoking. She smoked a cigarette – I’m not saying it right that she smokes, but it happened.”
Michael adds that his daughter is sober and not returning to her old habits. He says that Lindsay has been noticeably sober each and every time he has spoken to her, adding that he would know if Lindsay was again abusing alcohol or drugs.
Lindsay Lohan Asks For Privacy, Following A Public Blowout Fight With Egor Tarabasov
Even before the pregnancy rumors gained steam, Lohan was already the center of attention for a recent conflict between fiancee Egor Tarabasov and herself, one which Lohan shared via Instagram. Now, as Los Angeles Times shares, Lindsay is asking for privacy.
“Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own,” Ms. Lohan said of troubles with Tarabasov on Saturday. “There are more important things going on in the world than our relationship. Please leave us be to solve our personal matters.”
This plea for privacy comes just after Lindsay publicly shamed Egor for allegedly making time with a Russian prostitute in the latest post in a long line of Instagram shares designed to call out her fiancee for inappropriate behavior.
“Wow thanks #fiance with Russian hooker,” Lohan wrote on Twitter.
Lindsay’s plea for privacy comes on the same day that police responded to reports of domestic violence at Lohan’s West London apartment. A blowout fight, taking place on the balcony of the residence, was witnessed to involve Lohan accusing Tarabasov of trying to strangle her and trying to kill her. The dispute ended with Lindsay screaming for Egor to get out of her apartment.
Lindsay Lohan was last seen headed for London’s Heathrow Airport on Monday. Neither Egor Tarabasov, nor Lindsay Lohan have since responded to requests for comment.
