David Foster Dating Dr. Phil’s Former Producer? Daughters See A Fifth Marriage In Father’s Future
It looks like David Foster might be dating a mystery blonde. Is he moving on after ending his marriage to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda Foster?
On the evening of July 27, in Los Angeles, Foster was spotted with a blonde woman wearing a white dress. She’s been identified as one of Dr. Phil’s long time executive producers, Carla Pennington. She worked for Dr. Phil McGraw from 2005 to 2012. She and Foster were walking outside of a restaurant when photographers snapped photos of them, according to Radar Online.
Pennington has also produced a roster of other Dr. Phil shows, such as The Doctors, The Amber Rose Show, and The Test.
As the report informs readers, David Foster is friends with Dr. Phil. They were seen on June 11, along with Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin McGraw, at the Hotel Bel Air having drinks.

Prior to David being spotted with his new mystery woman, there was chatter that he was dating actress Selma Blair. A source told Radar Online that the pair looked “cozy” at West Hollywood hotspot, Craig’s.
David and Yolanda Foster have been divorced for months now. When Yolanda was battling her illness with Lyme Disease on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it took a toll on their marriage. Their divorce played out in the media for months. Just before their split was finalized, David’s daughters, Erin and Sara Foster, came forward saying that they didn’t think Yolanda was as sick as she made herself out to be because she was in front of cameras showing every moment of the grueling journey from therapy to traumatically worse days. Foster’s daughters felt it was during a time most wouldn’t have the energy or interest in being recorded for a nationally broadcast television show.
“Only she knows her journey, but I will say is if you’re capable of continuing to be on a reality show, you’re not dying,” Sara said.
Erin and Sara Foster interviewed with Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM on Wednesday, revealing that they definitely see a fifth marriage in the future for their father. Page Six recapped the discussion.
“We just want him to be happy,” said Erin. “We love when he is married, in a relationship. He is at his happiest when he is in a relationship. He will definitely get married again. He loves being married. Lucky No. 5!”
The two stars of Famously Single said they want someone “who’s going to make him a smoothie and is going to bring him some vitamins in the morning.” Sara said that’s all they hope for when it comes to their father’s happiness.
Erin adds that all of their friends think their dad is “hot.” She notes, however, that he breaks his own dating rules! He once told them that he’s not going to date anyone younger than his oldest daughter, but that quickly morphed into not dating anyone younger than his youngest daughter!

David Foster first married B.J. Cook in 1972, and the marriage lasted nine years. He then married Rebecca Dyer in 1982, and divorced in 1986. His third marriage was to Linda Thompson in 1991, and they split up in 2005. He was married to Yolanda Foster for four years. Their divorce was finalized this summer.
On RHOBH, David and Yolanda seemed solid, but the challenges presented proved too much and they sank as a married couple.
Is David dating Carla Pennington or was that just a friendly outing? If they were on a date, it’s rumored that Dr. Phil may have set them up. Anytime David Foster is seen with a woman nowadays, he’s suspected of dating them.
