Suri Cruise Follows Tom Cruise, Joins Scientology?
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s 10-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, is one of the most celebrated children connected to the entertainment industry. One recent report claims that Suri wants to become famous like her parents and would like to become an actress one day.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Suri wants to follow in her parents’ footsteps. However, Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes is very reluctant, as as she thinks that this is not the right time for her daughter to get exposed to a lot of media attention. However, Suri has made herself very clear that one day she will be as a famous as her father. Does that mean that she will one day join Scientology like her father did?
Scientology is a body of religious beliefs and practices and was created in 1954 by L. Ron Hubbard. This religious belief claims to offer a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to family, groups, mankind, and all life forms.
According to the church, any follower can have trouble making spiritual progress in his training if he is connected to someone who has antagonistic behavior towards the church.
“The term disconnection is defined as a self-determined decision made by an individual that he is not going to be connected to another. It is a severing of a communication line.”
Tom is an outspoken advocate for Scientology and its associated social programs. The actor first came to be involved with the church in 1990 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers. In addition to promoting several programs that include introducing people to Scientology, the Top Gun star also campaigned for the church to be recognized as a religion in Europe.
It was earlier reported that Katie had broken up with Tom because she feared that she would end up like the Mission Impossible star’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, and she feared that she could lose Siri, too. Things took a drastic turn when the church members moved into Tom’s LA home so they could cater to the star’s every action.
The arrival of church members into their mansion reportedly caused Holmes to freak out, with Holmes fearing that Suri could end up cutting off all contact with her under Scientology’s disconnection policy. In an interview with Daily Mail, Ron Miscavige revealed that the members of the church moved into Tom’s house because they wanted to take proper care of their most valuable celebrity.
Miscavige further revealed church’s disconnection policy and stated that if, like her father, Suri decided to join Scientology, then she might one day cut all ties with her mother.
“The big issue really was raising Suri as a Scientologist. If that happened, some day it was a possibility that she would disconnect from Katie.”
Meanwhile, Katie is surrounded by rumors that link her with Django Unchained actor Jamie Foxx. According to several media outlets, Katie and Jamie Foxx are allegedly a couple and have been dating for quite some time. Not only this, some reports also suggest that Katie is enjoying all the attention she is getting from the recent speculation.

According to several reports, Katie and Jamie are very much aware of ongoing speculation about their relationship. Most Hollywood stars try to stay away from such gossip, but the actress is reportedly enjoying the attention she is getting from it.
“Holmes has no problem with the industry attention she’s getting from the talk surrounding herself and Foxx. Since they’ve started hooking up he’s introduced her to so many big producers and power players, it’s a massive turn-on to her and something she’s taken full advantage of.”
There is no confirmation on whether Suri Cruise will be joining Scientology like her father Tom Cruise in the near future, but if she does, then one can only speculate on Katie Holmes’ final verdict on the matter.
