Kristen Stewart Dumped SoKo To Be With Alicia Cargile: Why Did The Actress Decide To Get Back With Ex-Girlfriend?

Kristen Stewart has accepted the fact that Alicia Cargile is the only woman for her, as explained in her interview with Elle, stressing that she is deeply in love with her girlfriend.

Rumors have circulated for years regarding Kristen’s close friendship with Alicia. Sources at the time had already revealed that the twosome were hooking up right after Kristen had split with Robert Pattinson, but the reports were quickly squashed by reps, claiming there was no truth to the allegations.

A couple of years later, it seems Kristen is finally ready to come clean about her relationship status with Cargile. Hollywood Life alleges that Stewart knows Alicia is the one she’ll be with for the rest of her life, giving her no reason not to share the joyful news to fans.

The duo was said to have been going through an on-again-off-again romance for several years before eventually taking a break from each other — one that would see Kristen Stewart move on with SoKo. Their romance, however, only lasted a couple of months, and during this time, the actress was said to have realized how madly in love she was with Alicia Cargile.

Kristen reportedly didn’t see a future with SoKo because all she could think about was how she was going to reconcile with Alicia. Their on-again-off-again romance had confused Kristen on where she actually stood with the visual effects producer as far as their relationship was concerned, but one thing was for sure: Stewart only saw herself being with her and no one else.

“Alicia [Cargile] has been the one that’s really opened Kristen [Stewart’s] eyes up to her sexuality. She nursed her through heartbreak when she split with Soko and has always been the closest person to her,” Hollywood Life goes on to claim.

“When they reconciled, Kristen realized Alicia is the love of her life and she can’t live or be without her. That made her feel comfortable to scream from the rooftops about their relationship,” the source continued, insinuating that Kristen’s decision to come clean was all inspired by her reconciliation with Alicia.

As previously reported, Kristen Stewart is no longer shying away from the fact that she’s also attracted to women.

In her interview with Elle, the 26-year-old Twilight star reveals, “Right now, I’m just really in love with my girlfriend. We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time, I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.'”

It was just two months ago when Kristen was alleged to have ran into ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson and his fiancée FKA Twigs at the Met Gala. According to reports at the time, there was absolutely no awkwardness between the trio — in fact, Kristen engaged in a brief conversation with Pattinson while the British singer stood by her man’s side.

Fans have gotten the impression over the last couple of months that Kristen is finally at peace with herself, especially after coming clean about her sexuality since the discussion of her previous girlfriends has constantly made headlines in the past.

In her interview with Elle, Kristen makes it perfectly clear that she’s beyond happy to have finally settled down with the woman she sees herself having a future with, and that’s despite the endless amount of times they’ve broken up in the past. But all that matters is that she’s reconciled with Alicia, someone who seems to know Stewart better than anybody else.
