Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Headed For A Split? Source Claims They Are ‘Struggling’

Could Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton be parting ways after less than one year of dating?

According to a new report, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship has hit a rocky point as they tend to their equally busy careers.

“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] seem to be struggling on so many fronts,” an insider told Life & Style on July 28, according to a report by Hollywood Life.

Currently, Gwen Stefani is in the midst of her This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, while Blake Shelton recently returned to work on The Voice for the series’ upcoming 11th season. So, when it comes to making time for one another, they have certainly faced their fair share of challenges.

Just last month, In Touch Weekly magazine claimed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were on the rocks and possibly planning to call it quits.

Gwen Stefani “might have to call off her relationship” with Shelton,” a source told the magazine in June, according to a report by Gossip Cop. “After seven months, the honeymoon period is over for the No Doubt front woman and the country star… [Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are starting to realize that they are very different people.”

“The things they were most attracted to in each other have now become issues between them,” continued the source. “They’re on the rocks.”

The source went on to reveal that “constant quarrels about their divergent lifestyles could be to blame” for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s problems. “They may have rushed into things — there is just so much driving them apart.”

However, just days later, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were together and prior to the report, a rep for the singer told Gossip Cop that In Touch Weekly “just makes stuff up.”

Although Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton breakup rumors continue to swirl, there doesn’t seem to be any real signs of a split. While the couple will continue to travel separately due to their career demands, they have done their best to spend time together when they can, and earlier this month, Shelton attended two of Stefani’s shows.

During one of Gwen Stefani’s concerts weeks ago, Shelton joined her on stage for a performance of their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which they wrote last year at the start of their romance.

Following their divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert last summer, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began filming the ninth season of The Voice, and as production was underway, they hit it off.

Earlier this month, while chatting with Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show, Gwen Stefani opened up about her first moments with Shelton on the set of Season 9, revealing she was completely shocked when he announced his split from Lambert to her and her co-stars.

“We were all mic-ed up and everything, and Blake’s like, ‘I gotta talk to you guys.’ And he basically made his announcement,” Stefani recalled to Stern. “I think I might have went white and like shook. I was in shock, because it felt like he was exposing me.”

At the time, Gwen Stefani hadn’t yet announced that she and Rossdale, the father of her three kids, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, were parting ways after 13 years of marriage.

“He basically told me what was going on with him. We just started this friendship. I wasn’t trying to start a relationship. I was just trying to not die,” Stefani admitted. “It was an incredible gift to be able to have a friend.”
