Dennis Hopper’s Daughter Inherits $2.85 Million

Dennis Hopper’s daughter, Galen Grier, has just inherited more than $2.5 million from her father’s estate.

Hopper, who passed away in 2010, left $2.5 million in cash to his daughter as well as $600,000 in property.

According to the Business Insider, the legendary actor was in a contentious divorce battle with Victoria Duffy at the time of his death. The divorce was not finalized prior to his death, but the actor made sure that Duffy did not get anything after his passing.

According to TMZ, Duffy did not inherit a dime from Hopper and will have no control over his daughter’s inheritance.

Galen’s inheritance will be put into a trust fund.

It’s unclear if the actor’s other children, who are now all adults, will inherit anything from their late father. Hopper’s fortune was well above $2.5 million, and OMG! speculates that his other three children — daughters Marin and Ruthanna and his son Henry — will inherit the remainder of his estate.

Hopper was best known for movies like Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, and Hoosiers. He passed away in 2010 at the age of 74.
