Kristen Stewart Is ‘Really In Love’ With Girlfriend Alicia Cargile and Wants The World To Know It

Kristen Stewart is crazy in love. In an interview with Elle UK, the actress best known for her work on the Twilight series confessed that she is head over heels for her current girlfriend, Alicia Cargile.

During the interview Stewart confirmed that she is in a relationship with the film producer. The two have been dating since last year.

“Right now, I’m just really in love with my girlfriend,” Stewart told the British magazine. “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.'”

As Us Weekly notes, Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile broke up briefly in October, 2015. During their break, Kristen hooked up with Soko, a French singer whose real name is Stéphanie Sokolinski. But, according to Us, Stewart and Soko broke up in May, 2016.

Stewart told Elle UK that since reuniting with Cargile, she’s ready to let the whole world know how in love she is.

“When I was dating a guy, I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it,” the Snow White And The Huntsman actress explained to the magazine. “We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not.’ I didn’t like that.”

Kristen Stewart’s last super high-profile relationship was with her Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson. Stewart and Pattinson broke up after pictures of her kissing Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders appeared in the press. The news created a huge scandal and left hordes of Twilight fans shell shocked.

As the Mirror reported at the time, Kristen Stewart released a public apology after the scandalous photos surfaced in the press.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Kristen said.

“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Rupert Sanders, the “other man” in the situation, also released a public apology directed at his wife, Liberty Ross, and his kids.

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” Sanders said. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

Despite the photos of the kiss with another man, Kristen and Robert seemed to be on the path to reconciliation, but it did not happen. The two announced that they were parting ways soon after.

But now, it looks like Kristen Stewart is ready to settle down once more with and she doesn’t want to hide it. She talked about changing her approach to relationships, from being secretive to being more open. For Stewart, dating a girl changed everything.

“But then it changed when I started dating a girl. I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it,’ so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”

She also gave some rare insight into how she felt about her relationship with Robert Pattinson.

“We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not,” she said.

As People reports, Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile have been seen out and about together, most recently when they returned from the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
