Eva Longoria Not Ready For TV Return
Eva Longoria ended her 8-year stint on Desperate Housewives earlier this year and the actress isn’t in a hurry to find another television gig. During the ALMA Awards this year, Longoria said that she wasn’t ready for another TV show yet.
But just because Longoria isn’t filming Desperate Housewives anymore doesn’t mean that she isn’t busy. This week, for instance, Longoria is hard at work putting on the ALMA Awards.
“What I probably miss most about the show is the routine and the work. But I think I am busier now that the show is over. I would love to go back to TV. Not now, because I just got out after an eight-year relationship. So not in the immediate future, but in the long run.”
Longoria also has a new love in her life. Last week the actress confirmed reports that she was dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. The new relationship has created a stir on the internet and last night, according to Fox News, the actress was berated with questions about her relationship on the red carpet.
Longoria managed to avoid answering questions about her personal life, however, and kept the focus on the ALMA Awards.
“It’s really fun… Not only do we get to celebrate Latinos in television and in film, but in fashion as well.”
Eva and George Lopez will be hosting the ALMA Awards this year which will air on Friday on NBC at 8 pm.
