Nick Cannon’s ‘Wild ‘n Out’ Is Returning To Television

Nick Cannon is currently hosting America’s Got Talent while wife Mariah Carey busily carries on with her duties as an American Idol judge. Now the star of TV and Rap has announced plans to bring back his hit MTV show Wild ‘n Out. You may recall that the show was a rap battle that pitted a red squad of comedians against a blue squad in battles that included one revolving celebrity participant per team.

Kevin Frazier at HipHollywood recently caught up with Nick Cannon to talk about the remix of the show which promises to feature more star power than the series’ first run.

The improv based show originally ran for four seasons and witnessed the rise of several comedians through its ranks.

Among the first runs comedians were Katt Williams aka Money Mike?! Kevin Hart, Charlie Murphy, Mike Epps, and Wayne Brady.

Cannon tells Frazier that some of the original comedians will return to the show, although he has not yet named names. The show will also continue to feature guest artists who will perform during the 30 minute segments.

Nick Cannon did not reveal if the show will find its home once again on MTV or if he will take his own brand of humor and improv to another network.

The last time Wild ‘n Out was on TV Nick Cannon’s ex-girlfriend Christina Milian performed, this time we are hoping for someone a little bigger — perhaps a certain Mrs. Cannon.

Will you be tuning in to watch the remix of Wild ‘n Out?
