‘Teen Mom OG’ Season 6 Looks Insane — Catelynn Breaks Down, Maci Gets Engaged, And Farrah Throws A Fit

A lot more insanity is heading to Teen Mom OG.

The first trailer for Season 6 features a roller coaster of drama, from proposals and baby announcements to epic breakdowns. What else can fans expect when Teen Mom OG returns next month?

According to Us Magazine, the trailer starts with Farrah Abraham’s rocky relationship with Simon Saran. At one point, Abraham is shown walking out of a counseling session and clearly isn’t happy with how things are turning out.

“I’m so annoyed – I can’t do this,” Abraham admits before walking out.

The reality star later informed Saran, “I don’t act like a f**king crazy bitch… I’m never crazy.”

Abraham’s outburst doesn’t sit well with her daughter, Sophia (7). In fact, Sophia questioned her mother’s romance with Saran, and wasn’t sure where they stood.

“Mama, are you in love with Simon?” she asked. “Are you? Is Simon your boyfriend? Kind of?”

Abraham’s outburst isn’t that surprising, especially considering the on and off again nature of her romance with Saran. Unfortunately, the situation is too hard for Sophia to understand.

Meanwhile, the promo also revealed that Catelynn Lowell is still struggling with postpartum depression.

Lowell opened up about her battles with depression last season on Teen Mom OG. She enrolled in a treatment facility back in April after realizing that she needs professional help.

“I just feel like I need help – I’m not OK,” an emotional Lowell shares in the video. “I think I need to go away to seek help.”

Unfortunately, she and Tyler Baltierra had to give up their first child, Carly, to adoption, but she still communicates with her regularly.

Speaking of Lowell, the Hollywood Gossip is reporting that her issues with depression are only the tip of the iceberg. In fact, the couple just had a daughter together, Novalee, whom they are planning on raising.

Taking care of Novalee is going to be hard on Lowell and her now husband Tyler, especially with her undergoing treatment in the near future.

Lowell first announced her entrance to a treatment facility in March, a move that surprised many fans at the time.

“Just let [fans] know that I’m just seeking help for my anxiety and depression at the moment,” she stated.

On a lighter note, Taylor McKinney finally proposes to Maci Bookout this season. A happily surprised Bookout is shown shortly after the beachside proposal.

Fans have waited a long time to see McKinney pop the big question, and the festive mood should help balance out the rest of the drama this season.

In addition to the wedding, McKinney and Bookout are also having their third child together. The couple welcomed baby no. 3, Maverick, back in May.

“I found out I was pregnant with baby number three right after we got engaged,” Bookout previously revealed. “It was not expected or a planned pregnancy.”

Lastly, Radar Online is reporting more drama is on the way for Amber Portwood and Matt Baier.

While reports continue to surface about Baier’s children with multiple women, Portwood is convinced her only solution is to get hitched as soon as possible.

“All of his crazy exes are coming out,” she says in the trailer. “The next step for me and Matt is to get married!”

However, Gary Shirley, Portwood’s ex, was quick to question Baier’s motives and shady past.

“Why is there so many different stories?” he states.

According to Hollywood Life, the Season 6 premiere of Teen Mom 2 will feature a two-hour long episode, offering fans plenty of time to catch up with their favorite reality stars.

Season 6 of Teen Mom OG is scheduled to premiere August 22 on MTV.
