But the elephant in the room as this match takes place would be Paul Pogba, the French superstar who helped Juve to the top of the Serie A table last year but has been strongly linked with a return to his previous club, Manchester United of the English Premier League.

Juventus Manager Massimiliano Allegri flatly refused to discuss the Pogba situation ahead of the clash with Tottenham, at a press conference on Monday.

“I’m not going to talk about transfer market news. I’m here to talk about tomorrow’s clash against Tottenham. Those who deal with the transfers at Juventus are doing a great job.”

Allegr was willing to reveal that his new signings, Medhi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic, will both see action in the match against Spurs on Tuesday in Australia.

As for Tottenham Hotspur, they are coming off their best season since 2010, when they placed fourth in the Premier League and subsequently made it all the wya through to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals before falling to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
