How Far Does Evan Bass Make It On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’? Evan Goes To ‘Paradise’ With One Girl In Mind [Spoilers]

Hang on to your shirts — Evan Bass is heading to Bachelor in Paradise to find love and dodge Chad Johnson, the villain from JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.

The 33-year-old single father will join 29 other singles from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette in hopes of finding a love connection amidst the drama.

According to ABC, Evan is part of the initial cast of 15 contestants who will appear on the August 2 season premiere, with an additional 15 guys and girls showing up throughout the six-week season.

How far will Evan make it on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, and does he make a love connection at the romantic Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita, Mexico?

Here’s the scoop on Evan’s second shot at finding love on television and some intel on his enemy Chad Johnson’s appearance on ABC’s summer reality series.

Fans who think Evan will spend his time in Paradise dealing with Chad’s craziness are in for a big surprise. According to ABC, Chad “offends everyone including the staff” during his first day taping the show, and host Chris Harrison doesn’t take kindly to his erratic behavior.

Chad won’t have much time to annoy Evan — or rip another one of his shirts. A previous report from the Inquisitr indicates that Chris Harrison will send Chad home when the Oklahoma real estate agent gets drunk and gets verbally abusive with contestant Lace Morris.

Fortunately for Evan, Chad doesn’t stick around long enough to mess with his quest to find love, and he starts out by making a play for single mom Amanda Stanton from Ben’s season of The Bachelor.

In the Bachelor in Paradise preview video below, viewers will see a brief glimpse of Evan telling Amanda he came on the show to meet her, but her reaction reveals that she doesn’t feel the same.

According to Reality Steve, Amanda goes on a date with Nick Viall on the first episode, and Evan doesn’t get a chance after that — Josh Murray arrives on Episode 2 and steals her heart.

However, there is good news for Evan, who ends up sticking around despite getting snubbed by Amanda.

In addition to Amanda Stanton, Evan has seven other ladies to choose from on the first episode — Sarah Herron, twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, Lace Morris, Jubilee Sharpe, Izzy Goodkind, and Carly Waddell.

Although he doesn’t score a date card on the Bachelor in Paradise season premiere, he does find someone to give a rose to — and she accepts.

Carly Waddell, who found heartbreak on the last season of Bachelor in Paradise, accepts Evan’s rose on the first episode, kicking off a relationship that appears to have some potential after one day of filming.

Both Evan and Carly live in Nashville, so distance wouldn’t be an issue if they started dating in real life. Although WetPaint reports that Carly was spotted out with another Bachelor in Paradise contestant, Wells Adams, before filming started, it will be clear to viewers as the season progresses that they are just friends and not lovers.

If Reality Steve’s spoilers are correct, Evan and Carly become an item after the first episode, similar to her fast-moving relationship with Kirk last season.

However, her relationship doesn’t end in a teary-eyed disaster like it did during the Season 2 finale. Spoilers point to Carly making it to the season finale with Evan. They are one of five couples who will have to choose to break up and go home or leave the show in a relationship.

Reality Steve is confident that viewers will see Evan propose to Carly on the Bachelor in Paradise season finale, one of three couples who leave the show engaged.

Fans will have to wait until the Bachelor in Paradise finale airs in September to find out if Evan and Carly are still together. For now, it sounds like Evan found love and made it through the season without any ripped shirts.

Watch the two-hour Bachelor in Paradise season premiere on August 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
