Amber Rose Defends Kanye West In Feud With Taylor Swift — Calls Rapper Out About Putting Her In ‘Famous’ Music Video

Amber Rose shocked fans on Friday when she opened up her new VH1 talk show, The Amber Rose Show, by discussing the recently renewed feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. It was even more surprising when Amber seemed to side with Kanye as she played back the Snapchat recording that has since gone viral.

It seems that Rose really believes Kanye learned his lesson after interrupting Taylor’s 2009 VMA speech. Even though she started her dialogue with a disclaimer that she’s not a huge fan of the rapper, Rose went on to explain how she was there during the epic rant and saw the toll it took on West after the fact.

Amber Rose said she really believes that Kanye West would have given Taylor Swift a heads up about her role in his song “Famous” because he didn’t want to go through the same drama that he did after taking her microphone during the VMAs.

“It was just a very, very hard time for him and I was around to see that,” Amber said. “I watched Lady Gaga cancel the tour, I watched people say that they did not want to work with him anymore because of it, and he really went through a lot of bulls**t.”

When Kanye dropped his The Life of Pablo album during the spring, there was a huge uproar about the Taylor Swift line in his song, “Famous.” Taylor was irate when the song was released and blasted Kanye during her 2016 Grammy Awards acceptance speech, when she won Album of the Year for the second time in her career.

TSwift’s reaction to “Famous” after it was released was a total contradiction to the phone conversation that she had with Kanye West while he was still working on the song. It was during that call that Taylor not only thanked Kanye for the heads up, but she even made a few suggestions for how he could make the song better. Then she went as far as to laugh about how people would react when she was in on it the whole time.

After the Snapchat video was released, Taylor Swift had no choice but to issue another statement. In it, she called the phone call reveal “character assassination” and continued to act as though the line “I made that b***h famous” was the real reason she was so upset. The reality is, TSwift got caught trying to vilify Kanye West again and this time, she wasn’t so innocent.

It turns out that Amber Rose’s message on her new VH1 show was twofold. Not only did she stick up for Kanye and explain why he would never sideswipe Taylor again, she also wanted to know why she didn’t get a heads up. Amber pointed out on The Amber Rose Show that she was featured in the music video for “Famous” as one of the nude wax figures laying in bed with the rapper, but she didn’t get a heads up.

“Why didn’t I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video?”Amber quipped. “Please stay the f**k out of the news, so I don’t need to talk about your a** no more.”

With that, Amber Rose moved right on to the next subject without missing a beat.
