Farrah Abraham Blames Adult Film Career On Losing Derek Underwood — ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Says She Did It To Support Sophia
Farrah Abraham appeared on Million Dollar Matchmaker with Patti Stanger last night. She has been looking for love for quite some time, never finding someone who she feels completes her like she wants. Abraham was part of the original cast for 16 & Pregnant and currently airs on Teen Mom OG. There have been a lot of ups and downs in her career since her fame took off, most notably her adult film release. A lot of judgment has been passed on the reality star because of her choices. Until now, Abraham has never addressed the reasoning behind filming the adult movie or being in the sex toy industry at all.
There has been a lot of drama surrounding Farrah Abraham and her choices over the last few years. The release of her adult film forced several of her Teen Mom co-stars to take a look at where they were headed. Abraham hasn’t been upfront about some of the decisions she has made regarding her career, and she often shies away from talking about her adult film career and sex toy line. According to Wetpaint, Farrah Abraham made those choices to better her life financially. She was a single mom from the beginning, losing Sophia’s dad while she was still pregnant. Abraham broke down while talking about it with Patti Stanger, giving fans the impression she is still very much stuck in that place in her life.
When 16 & Pregnant was filming is when Farrah Abraham lost her boyfriend, Derek Underwood. She loved him with all she had, and he died before having the chance to meet his daughter. Abraham was thrown into being a single mom while only a teenager. She managed to survive on her own, but not without incident. Deciding to do an adult film was a big decision, but one she knew she had to make. Ultimately, Abraham decided to go for the money and do what she needed to do. It appears that she may be embarrassed by her choices now, which is why she will not discuss a lot of it on camera.
Million Dollar Matchmaker did find a match for Farrah Abraham, but it appears they are no longer together. There has been some discussion about her relationship with Simon Saran being over for good now as well. Abraham has been single on and off since joining the MTV family, but Saran was her longest and most visible relationship to date. A lot has happened in her life and she is learning how to navigate the parenting world alone. Abraham has made several questionable decisions regarding Sophia, including the recent modeling career that has been talked about. Plenty of criticism has been thrown her way, and Abraham lets it roll off her shoulders. When she does respond, nothing good comes from it and she alienates herself from the real world more and more.
Raising Sophia alone hasn’t been easy for Farrah Abraham. She has done some questionable things to ensure her daughter has everything she could ever want and more. There has been a lot of talk about how she does things and how she treats her own parents. Abraham has relied on them a lot over the years, despite her claims they abused her while she was growing up. Finding someone to step into the father role in Sophia’s life has proven to be difficult at best, but she is still willing to work at it until it happens. Abraham has become the talk of the Teen Mom franchise, for better and worse. Right now, things may be difficult for her in the love department, but Farrah Abraham will not be alone forever.
