‘BoJack Horseman’ Fans Rejoice As Season 3 Becomes Available On Netflix

Fans have been anticipating the release of the new season of BoJack Horseman for several months, and on Friday, their dreams came true. Season 3 contains 12 new episodes and they are all as dark and funny as previous episodes. Fans expected a lot, and judging by all the responses, it’s safe to say the new season has delivered. Posters on the BoJack Horseman Reddit group have mostly praised the new season.

“For as high praise as Season 2 got – don’t get me wrong, I still LOVE Season 2 – I really felt the writing this season was stronger…Season 3 seems to diverge in that it didn’t feel like it was building up to something, but rather building upon everything. The story evolved and grew in unpredictable, surprising ways,” says Tlazar_Phx.

“Just finished the season for my first viewing, i’ll watch it in a less condensed format over the week to get my head around what I just saw. I’m lost for words. This show just keeps getting better and better,” claims TrivsTom.

It’s not just the fans who love the new season of BoJack Horseman; the critics are in love with it as well. Vulture claims the new season is terrific.

“With its mix of curveball innovations and very BoJack elements, season three of Raphael Bob-Waksberg’s cartoon sitcom set in a species-mixed world of humans and animals might be its best overall, though it necessarily lacks the aspect of jaw-dropping surprise that made it so beguiling in its first two outings.”

Like other critics, Vulture‘s Matt Zoller Seitz believes the episode where BoJack goes underwater and the communication is reduced to mostly motions is one of the best.

Variety‘s Sonia Saraiya believes BoJack Horseman really defies defined genres and embraces experiences that aren’t usually worthy of television. She praises the complex relationship between the characters.

This article won’t really give any spoilers, but it’s important to point out that the crazy rumors that have been circling around the third season of BoJack Horseman are nothing but, well, just crazy rumors. One of the crazy lies that kept getting repeated was that BoJack would have a gay love affair with Mr. Peanutbutter, the lovable yellow lab who is currently married to one of the other main characters, Diane Nguyen. Last month, a user named “Pillsburyboy,” who claimed to have worked for Netflix, posted false information.

“You will be seeing another trailer in about a week. This new season is going to be a lot like the latest season of Family Guy in which they sometimes go ‘too far’ with jokes. Some will like it, some will not. Mr. Peanutbutter does leave Diane for BoJack. There is a hilarious sex scene between the two where Peanutbutter says, ‘You are built like a horse, BoJack!’ However, this comes after Peanutbutter and Diane’s divorce.”

Pillsburyboy added that the third season would deal with spousal abuse when Mr. Peanutbutter is constantly being beaten up by Diane Nguyen, who becomes an alcoholic. According to the poster, who ended up being nothing but a troll, Diana’s brother Gary, a sheep, would have a more prominent role this season. The spousal abuse part sounded legit, especially because BoJack Horseman has no problems dealing with controversial issues.
