‘Jersey Shore’ Alum Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ To Appear On ‘RHONJ’ With Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita And Melissa Gorga?

Will viewers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey see a Jersey Shore alum on the show sometime in the future? If new housewife Siggy Flicker has her way, yes. In an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, posted on Thursday, Siggy talked about getting Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola on Real Housewives, which besides Siggy currently stars Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania.

Sammi rose to fame with MTV’s Jersey Shore, which ran on MTV from 2009 to 2012. Having Sammi do another reality TV stint, this time on Real Housewives, isn’t as big of a stretch as it may seem. Siggy and Sammi, along with TV host Clare Galterio, are actually co-hosts of the podcast radio show Just Sayin‘. Siggy revealed during her interview that she has actually asked Sammi to film with her. While the answer is a “no” for now, Siggy is still hopeful it’ll turn into a “yes” in the future.

“I’ve asked her. I love Sammi. I would love for Sammi to do it. Right now, Sammi’s got her own projects in the works but I would love to work with Sammi. I would love to be with her. Just being with her is very natural and very easy.”

Siggy went on to explain how the 29-year-old Sammi would fit right in with the New Jersey housewives.

“When I met Sammi ‘Sweetheart,’ I fell in love. She’s a sweetheart but a grounded girl, like her mother did a phenomenal job raising her. And when I say this I mean she doesn’t bulls**t you, she stands up for what’s right and wrong. She’s not aggressive in any way. I just really enjoy her. What you see is what you get. I mean Sammi’s in my house at least once a week with no makeup on. She’s lying on my couch. She’s beautiful inside and out. That’s what I like. What you see is what you get. And that’s what it is also with Teresa, with Melissa, Jacqueline, and Dolores.”

A week ago, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola actually attended one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 premiere parties. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, while Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice were hosting a party and live-stream at Melissa’s house the night Season 7 premiered, Jacqueline Laurita, Siggy Flicker, Dolores Catania, as well as “friends” of the housewives, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri, were at another premiere party. Jacqueline posted a photo of herself with Sammi and Deena Nicole Cortese, who was on Jersey Shore beginning from the third season.

There has been talk of a Jersey Shore alum joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey before. In 2015, there were rumors that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi might be joining the cast after Melissa posted a photo of herself hanging out with Snooki. Melissa revealed that Snooki is a neighbor of hers.

Melissa and Snooki apparently had so much fun together that they decided to continue the fun into the night at Melissa’s house, where Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorga, joined them.

In October 2015, Snooki addressed the rumor that she’s joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Snooki at first said that she would never do the show.

“Nope. Never. I would be honest and say yeah, but no. I think it’s just because I’ve hung out with Melissa [Gorga] a little bit. If you hang out with a housewife, you’re automatically a part of the show. But, no.”

Yet Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s former co-star later said that she may consider doing it when she’s older.

“I’m only 27. I have other things going on. I feel like, if I’m a little bit older, I would consider it. But I’m still young.”
