Justin Bieber: Still Having Trouble With A Former Selena Gomez Neighborhood

Justin Bieber is still having issues with Calabasas neighbors who complained about him back in 2014. Justin had already served two years of probation, paid $80,900 in damages, completed five days’ worth of community service at a homeless shelter, and underwent anger management counseling. Now the same neighbors say that their family still has sleepless nights just recalling how the superstar partied out loud, had drugs next door, and drag-raced around the gated neighborhood.

His ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, used to own a property in the same plush Los Angeles neighborhood, which was sold to French Montana, Khloe Kardashian’s ex on April 29, according to TMZ. If you were Justin Bieber, what would you do in this case? The Biebs seems to be running out of options. And so recently he asked his attorney to tell his former neighbors to consult a shrink — if only to prove if indeed the whole family is still experiencing mental and emotional distress.

Take note, Justin Bieber has not been living in the same community for the past two years. This is why the megastar is wondering why, even after a couple of years, his record as a bad neighbor is still causing psychological issues.

According to New York Daily News, “The couple alleges that they suffer from headaches, stomach aches and insomnia due to the Biebs’ antics during the time he lived next door to them.”

Justin’s former Calabasas neighbors are Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz and their daughter, who was a minor when Bieber was part of the neighborhood. The source says that in January 2014, the “Sorry” singer pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor when he pelted the Schwartz’s door with eggs. Apparently, the legal battle is still on despite Justin’s acts of restitution. Also, the judge is yet to decide on the Bieber party’s motion to have the Schwartz family submit to a psychological evaluation.

According to TMZ, the Schwartz family had reportedly compared their traumatic experiences with the Neighbors movies. Meanwhile, a Daily Mail article conducted a probe into Justin Bieber’s childhood neighborhood in London, Canada. Sad to say, Justin’s neighbors as he was growing up had the same things to say about him way before he became a super celebrity. The following is just some of their complaints.

  • “There is an apartment block nearby and he’d ring all the buzzers to get the residents to open the doors.
  • My house was egged three times by that kid. If we went on holiday he’d play games on my lawn. After one winter we found 16 of his ice hockey pucks there.
  • He’d play basketball on the lawn and trample on the plants. There was never a sorry. If there was mischief to be had, he’d have it. He’d make our life a misery.”

What do you think? Are these hair-raising stories or not? If you happened to be Justin Bieber’s neighbor when he was growing up, how would you feel? Would you be able to forgive Justin because he was just a boy?

Fast-forward to present times. Another Daily Mail article is happy to report that Justin Bieber passed his two-year probation for the misdemeanor charge last month, thirty days ahead of schedule. And not only that, the program manager at the homeless shelter where Justin did five days’ worth of community service was impressed with the dedication demonstrated by the megastar.

Justin Bieber’s ongoing concert series, Purpose, is reportedly the artist’s latest attempt to redeem himself and become a better man, or so says Bustle. This lofty goal is enshrined in the very first track of the concert’s set list, “Mark My Words.”

“Mark my words, that’s all that I have / mark my words, give you all I got,” the song goes.

Since the concert series began on March 9, Justin has so openly shown the world his ups and downs, even his struggles with spirituality, and at times his psychological battles. But perhaps the most telling sign that he has indeed become a better man was a simple, yet profound comment he made on the eve of Kim Kardashian West’s phone reveal against Taylor Swift.

More love, less hate,” wrote the Biebs on social media as reported by Hollywood Life.

It was definitely not original, and yet it was so fitting for the situation. Could this be a genuine sign that Justin Bieber has truly matured as a man? You be the judge.
