Beyoncé’s Hilarious Delayed Reaction To Serena Williams’ Wimbledon Win, Silence For Police Brutality Victims

Beyoncé is being mocked for her delayed reaction to Serena Williams’ win at Wimbledon, according to Vanity Fair. The “Formation” singer proved that celebrities don’t know a thing about sports when she came to support Williams during the Wimbledon women’s singles championship match.

The problem with Beyoncé’s reaction is that it took her way too long to realize that Williams’ win of her 22nd Grand Slam title at Wimbledon was secured. And the 34-year-old singer’s fans noticed this hilarious reaction right away and spread it all over social media. It’s a good thing that Beyoncé’s fans, despite their big, big love for the singer, know that it’s not a mean thing to make fun of their favorite singer every once in a while. And who can blame her for having a delayed reaction? Not everyone who likes watching tennis knows about its scoring system, matches, sets, and games.

But still, Beyoncé looked stunning in that white outfit and topknot. And her reaction at Wimbledon was kind of cute, as some of her fans noted. Beyoncé’s fans also noted that the singer and her husband, Jay Z, were just as shiny and bright as the Wimbledon trophy, according to People magazine. It was their white outfits and their bright smiles that prompted the “Formation” singer’s fans to make such a comparison.

Beyoncé and Jay Z came to support Williams during the tennis game in which the tennis superstar defeated Angelique Kerber, becoming the second woman in the history of tennis to win 22 Grand Slam titles.

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s appearance on Centre Court came as a bit of a surprise, but this is the kind of friendship Queen Bey and the tennis superstar have — they love to surprise one another. In fact, earlier this year, Williams, who secured her seventh Wimbledon singles win, made a cameo appearance in Beyoncé’s “Sorry” video.

But she didn’t only appear in it — she twerked in it! During her interview last month with the Wall Street Journal, Williams revealed that she has known Beyoncé “for a long time.”

But Beyoncé and Jay Z were far from the only celebrities to attend the Wimbledon match, as actresses Natalie Portman and Rashida Jones also attended the match. In fact, the two were spotted laughing and having a good time.

Also, Ellen DeGeneres was also spotted with her wife, Portia de Rossi, during the final tennis match.

In other news, Beyoncé has shared her reaction to the fatal police shootings in the United States, according to Time. The “Lemonade” singer shared an open letter on her website, in which she expressed her pain over the recent deaths of two black men in police shootings.

Just hours after the open letter, Beyoncé was at a concert in Glasgow, Scotland, and she asked for a moment of silence to honor those killed in the recent tragedies. The singer dedicated the moment of silence to honor hundreds of people who lost their lives due to police brutality.

The names displayed on a big screen included Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, both of whom were shot by police. After the announced moment of silence, Beyoncé performed a heart-wrenching a cappella rendition of her hit song “Freedom.”

Beyoncé is far from the only celebrity who has expressed her pain over the recent events involving police brutality in the United States. Even such stars as Snoop Dogg and Kim Kardashian have given their comments about the recent wave of police violence.
