‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor’s Appeal Begins, Chelsea Threatens, Phyllis Battles, And Stitch Resists Abby’s Baby Suggestions

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday’s show detail that many in Genoa City will head back to the courtroom as Victor battles to regain his freedom. The Newman family has shifted course after the incident at the cabin, and the July 22 episode will be jam-packed with drama on this front.

Soon the appeal will begin to play out in front of the judge, teases SheKnows Soaps, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Victoria, Nick, and Nikki will track down Phyllis before the court session begins in order to pressure her to testify on Newman’s behalf. They bring up the cabin incident, but Phyllis is resistant to help given all that Victor did to her.

Nick will try to use Summer’s feelings for her grandfather as leverage to convince Phyllis to help them, but she is still not swayed. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Jack will arrive, and he will stand by his wife, but when she shares her plans to head to court and blast Newman, Jack begs her to stay out of it. Things will get heated as she bristles at his pleas to stay away from the appeal.

Victor and Adam will talk at Walworth and Young and Restless spoilers note that Adam will tell his father that he will not be stepping up to lend his support in this appeal. Victor claims that the rest of his family is supporting him, but Adam isn’t convinced of his father’s sincerity. However, Victor taunts that his son should hope the appeal is successful, saying that it is the only way that Adam will be freed as well.

Abby and Stitch have been working on reconnecting, but he pulled back earlier when she brought up the idea of trying for another baby. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that they will start talking about their future together, but she again brings up the idea of trying for a baby, and this once again causes him to pull away.

Chelsea will talk with Dylan and Sharon about Adam, and Young and Restless spoilers note that Chelsea will voice some frustration over the lack of progress in finding the missing diary pages. We Love Soaps indicates that she will be anxious for revenge against Victor, and she will make something of a threat as she leaves Dylan and Sharon.

Soon Abby and Stitch pop up at Crimson Lights as well, and they will spend some time catching up with Sharon and Dylan. The ladies chat about how having another child after a miscarriage can bring some healing, and Stitch talks to Dylan about his reservations in trying for another child. However, Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Dylan will try to convince Stitch to be open to the idea, explaining how much Sully has helped him after the child that he lost.

People will gather at court for the beginning of the appeal, and Chelsea is anxious to testify against her father-in-law. She will butt heads with the family over whether Victor framed Adam, and Victor arrives and tries to tell her that her husband is doing fine. However, she isn’t necessarily buying it and makes another threat before she heads elsewhere.

As the hearing plays out, Nick, Abby, and Victoria all testify on behalf of their father, and Nikki takes the stand as well. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that she will talk about how she had been drinking during the previous trial, and she talks about the cabin incident. Victor takes the stand as well and testifies about his love for his family.

While the Newman family members are all supporting Victor, Young and Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis will end up bursting in, Jack right behind her, exclaiming that she has plenty to say. Viewers will see Chelsea go to visit Adam, and they share what they’ve pieced together with one another. As they visit, he becomes a bit stunned to hear of her confrontation with his father. She mentions wanting to bring Connor to see him, but Adam resists the idea.

Viewers will see Dylan and Sharon talk about how hard it is to lose a child, and he will mention that the hardest parts are behind them. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Stitch will spend some time alone, looking at the baby gifts they still have, thinking back to finding out about Abby’s pregnancy.

Will Stitch and Abby be able to repair their relationship and have a child together? When will the truth about Sully being Christian finally be revealed? Will Victor regain his freedom and how far will Chelsea go to try to help Adam? The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that there are more heated moments on the way, and fans can’t wait to see what comes next.
