‘Big Brother 18’ Recap: Spoilers From July 21 Episode Includes Latest Eviction From ‘BB18’ House [Spoilers]

The July 21 Big Brother 18 recap comes from Thursday and it is packed with info. Many Big Brother 18 spoilers had already indicated that the house was unclear on who would receive enough votes for eviction, and now the CBS viewers were given an opportunity to see which person the BB18 house decided to evict this week. The latest episode aired on CBS at 9 p.m. PT/ET on July 21. The main focal point was to showcase the fifth eviction of the season and introduce the Battle Back “twist” that applies to all the evicted houseguests.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Paulie Calafiore won the Head of Household competition this week and nominated Tiffany Rousso and Natalie Negrotti for eviction. Tiffany then won the Roadkill competition and chose Corey Brooks as the third nominee. At the Veto competition, Corey ended up winning the power, despite having a deal with Paul Abrahamian to throw the competition to him. At the Veto ceremony, Corey saved himself, forcing Tiffany to go with her replacement nominee (Da’Vonne Rogers).

The July 21 Big Brother 18 recap officially begins with the episode rehashing everything that has taken place throughout the past week. It led right up to the Veto ceremony, where Da’Vonne was placed on the chopping block. A report from fan site Joker’s Updates provided the specific opening quote from host Julie Chen.

“Mortal enemies have banded together, paranoia is running rampant, and one returning houseguest is in danger of going home”

The mortal enemies she is speaking about are Tiffany Rousso and Frank Eudy, who are shown working/conspiring together in several flashback clips. Frank and Bridgette Dunning were trying to find a way to save Tiffany, with the target shifting to Da’Vonne Rogers for the week. This is where a lot of time was spent on during the beginning of the July 21 Big Brother 18 episode, as the house scrambled to figure out who the best candidate for eviction would be this week. At one point Tiffany even approached Paulie to try to convince him to keep her in the game.

A few moments between James Huling and Natalie Negrotti are shown, with the showmance going through its first bumps of the season. They tell each other that there are feelings between them and the relationship ends up appearing quite strong by the end of the segment. From there it is back to the negotiating in the BB18 house as the houseguests not nominated for eviction continued to discuss whether it was better to evict Tiffany or Da’Vonne this week. In the process, Paulie Calafiore found out that Da’Vonne wasn’t really on his side, setting her up as a target next week.

Now on to the “live” voting portion of this July 21 Big Brother 18 recap. Host Julie Chen explained the voting process again (while the camera showed Paulie’s new haircut) and the latest eviction vote began. Michelle Meyer went first and voted to evict Tiffany. Zakiyah Everette and James Huling followed her by voting to evict Tiffany, and then CBS went to its typical commercial break during the count. Following the commercial, Nicole Franzel, Frank Eudy, Corey Brooks, Bridgette Dunning, and Paul Abrahamian all voted to evict Tiffany.

By a vote of 8-0, Tiffany Rousso became the fifth evicted BB18 houseguest. It was the first unanimous eviction vote of the season, showing just how much the house wanted to respect the wishes of current HOH Paulie Calafiore. Tiffany had her one-on-one interview with Julie Chen, where she heard the goodbye messages from the house and then got told about the Battle Back competition. Then it was time for Julie Chen to tell the audience that the game was about to get shaken up in a big way.

Following the final commercial break, footage of the first four evicted houseguests is shown, depicting what they have been up to since getting sequestered from the world. Glenn Garcia, Jozea Flores, Victor Arroyo, and Bronte D’Acquisto each talk about wanting to get back in the BB18 house and avenge their early exits through the Battle Back competition. A previous report by the Inquisitr covers how the Battle Back competition will work.

In the house again, Julie Chen lets the houseguests in on the new “twists.” The teams are disbanded, the Roadkill competition comes to an end, and it is revealed that there will only be two nominees for eviction each week. Without revealing to the house that the Battle Back competition even exists, the show comes to an end. No new Head of Household has been decided yet and everyone is confused about what might happen next in the game.

That brings an end to the July 21 Big Brother 18 recap. The next episode of the show is at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Friday, July 22, when CBS reveals how the Battle Back competition played out. Currently, the live feeds are down, and will likely remain that way until the conclusion of the Battle Back episode. When the feeds are turned back on, social media is likely to get flooded with Big Brother 18 spoilers that could include the new nominations for eviction. Stay tuned fans, because some big things are coming from the BB18 house this weekend.
