Joey Lawrence Hosts ‘That’s So ’80s’ On DIY Network

Joey Lawrence is now hosting the DIY Network’s new series That’s So ’80s. A show that looks back on the best, the worst. and the ugliest trends of the 1980s.

Much like the popular VH1 show I Love The 80s. this new fare will feature a panel of pop culture experts who talk about and make fun of pastel colors, carpeted bathrooms, glass blocks, sponge painting, waterbeds and much more.

Much of the footage comes from the DIY Network and HGTV archival footage to answer the question “What were we thinking?”

The show covers every room in the home from bathroom and kitchen to bedroom and den. Also featured are pieces of technology that are outdated today and many pieces of tech which were useless even back in the 80s. You can also expect to see plenty of Chia Pets and Ferns.

If you are a big fan of looking back over the past to realize how completely wrong you were. you can catch That’s So ’80s on the DIY Network

The show premiered on Saturday, and, take it from us, there are plenty of “what were we thinking” moments already shown.

Give the show a watch if you missed the premiere. Here is a list of showtimes:

At least the 60s and 70s had a stark attempt at design with weird greens and yellows. Do you think there was a worst decade for in-home fashion than the 1980s?
