Jenelle Evans, one of the co-stars of Teen Mom 2, is not in the habit of sitting back quietly when she gets bashed by haters. Now, after receiving a backlash about a report that she is pregnant again, Jenelle is fighting those who criticized her, reported the Daily Mail.
The battle began after a road accident on July 6. In the police report documenting the incident, officials revealed that Evans had informed the police that she was 10 weeks along in her pregnancy. The news of her revelation resulted in a backlash of criticism on social media.
The Teen Mom star clapped back at those criticizing her, pointing out that while some celebrities receive congratulations about their pregnancy news, she received hate in response to the news that she might be pregnant with baby number three.
“I don’t understand what is ‘disappointing’ or ‘sad’ [about a pregnancy],” contended Jenelle in reference to some of the negative responses. “Funny someone else comes out with news they are pregnant and the world is overjoyed.”
Although Evans refrained from either confirming a pregnancy or denying it, she did express her feelings about the quotes that upset her.
“So sad,” wrote one commentator.
“Disappointing,” opined another.
Some of Jenelle’s followers focused on the news that she was reportedly pregnant for the third time.
“She should have had her tubes tied,” recommended one critic.
“3 baby daddies!!” scolded a follower.
The Teen Mom 2 star questioned why her followers failed to ask about her well-being after the car accident, while also asking for privacy.
“Why not ask if I’m ok from the car accident?! Why not be concerned about my health?!” exclaimed Jenelle.
“I want privacy. All of you disgust me. It’s all about gossip these days.”
The road accident took place in North Carolina. After Evans informed the police officers who responded that she was pregnant and having stomach pains, she was taken to a hospital. Jenelle had been a passenger in the car that rear-ended another auto at a stop light.
Evans has been suffering from a mysterious medical condition, which she revealed in January. Since then, she has had two stays in the hospital.
In April, Jenelle complained to journalists of hot flashes and joint aches. She also threatened to leave Teen Mom 2 if her doctors advised her that she was experiencing too much stress from the reality TV show.
In Touch pointed out that Evans repeatedly has been rumored to be pregnant, but the police reports appeared to offer confirmation of the pregnancy.
Jenelle currently has two sons, Jace and Kaiser. Her boyfriend, David Eason, was in the car with her when the accident occurred, and she shared her pregnancy announcement.
Some fans of Teen Mom 2 offered Evans support on Instagram.
“It’s sad that people have some sort of disconnect and don’t realize she’s still a real person with real feelings. Definitely wishing her all the best,” posted one fan.
Several fans wanted Evans to go ahead and provide her own confirmation of the pregnancy in addition to the police report. They offered congratulations and hoped that Jenelle would have a baby girl.
“I wish she would confirm! Congratulations girl! Hope it’s a girl!” posted one well-wisher.
As for what’s next for Evans on Teen Mom 2, Radar Online notes that she, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer have starred on the show since the debut.
However, negotiating for the next season just may result in issues. Will Jenelle stay or go? Due to the drama in her life, from the brouhaha over her baby bump rumors to arrests, a source revealed to Radar that fans could look forward to viewing her roller-coaster life for another season.
“Jenelle has been filming again,” shared the insider. “MTV knows her life is so up and down that they want to make sure they get all the details.”
