‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: Unexpected Twists And New Rivalries Teased [Spoilers]

Fans are excited for Once Upon A Time Season 6. What can OUAT viewers expect when the fairy tale drama returns to ABC? There are teasers that there will be unexpected twists, new rivalries, and more.

Last season on Once Upon A Time, Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) arrived in Storybrooke and gave Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla) a chilling greeting. Regina also tried to separate herself from The Evil Queen, but that ended with disastrous results. The Evil Queen somehow survived and is now determined to spread chaos and devastation everywhere. What else is known about Season 6 of OUAT?

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, it was teased that Regina Mills will be in a sword fight with Mr. Hyde. Parrilla also hinted that Mr. Hyde and The Evil Queen will not be the only villains. As fans know, new characters from The Land Of Untold Stories will appear. It is speculated that executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis will go beyond the traditional fairy tales. Expect characters like Sinbad and Morpheus. There are also rumors that Aladdin and Jasmine could appear.

The cast and those in charge will be at Comic-Con this Saturday to discuss Once Upon A Time Season 6. ABC released the official description of what to expect.

“On Saturday, July 23, The Evil Queen is back as the heroes of Once Upon a Time return to San Diego Comic-Con for its sixth consecutive year, with a panel that will discuss the upcoming season of unexpected twists, evolving characters, new adventures, and new rivalries with moderator Yvette Nicole Brown,” ABC teased. “Join co-creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, along with some of your favorite cast members, as this panel is sure to bring some surprises you don’t want to miss and an exclusive sneak peek at what’s in store for Once Upon a Time season 6!”

Recently, it was teased by Adam Horowitz on Twitter that the title of Once Upon A Time Season 6, Episode 1 is “The Savior.” Many believe that Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) will no longer have this title. If not her, then who? Apparently, Regina might be the new hero of Storybrooke.

The title of OUAT Season 6, Episode 2 was also released by Horowitz on Twitter. It is called “A Bitter Draught.” It is unclear what exactly that means, but one writer had an idea.

“The word ‘draught’ originates from the Middle Ages,” Carter Matt wrote, “and is often now interchangeable with the word ‘draft.’ Specifically in this context, we imagine it meaning a current of air.”

What else is known about Once Upon A Time Season 6? Regina Mills is going to be completely pulled apart and so are the other characters. However, Lana Parilla will portray the most extreme example of it as she battles The Evil Queen. What makes the adversary so dangerous is that she lacks compassion, sympathy, and has no remorse. She has all of the negative traits and none of the positive, so there is no balance.

As for the other characters of Once Upon A Time, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will still be in a deep slumber and Morpheus will have interaction with her. This makes sense since he is the Greek god of dreams. However, he will also have scenes with Rumple (Robert Carlyle), which should be interesting.
