JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers ‘Not Getting Married,’ Breakup Statement Expected After ‘Bachelorette’ Season Finale [Report]

Just minutes after JoJo Fletcher hands out her final rose on the Bachelorette season finale, fans will see the 25-year-old Texas beauty appear in public with the guy she got engaged to during the live After the Final Rose special.

ABC’s video preview of the final rose ceremony (below) shows JoJo rejecting a proposal from one of her final two guys before she celebrates the end of her journey to find love by accepting an $80,000 Neil Lane engagement ring from the one man who was a consistent frontrunner all season.

Although many fans are hoping to see JoJo tie the knot on an ABC wedding special, a breakup may already be in the works, something viewers could see play out soon after the finale airs on August 1.

Viewers will be led to believe that JoJo fell in love with two guys this season — Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers. Although Life & Style reports that both men will propose to her at the final rose ceremony, spoilers point to Jordan Rodgers as the guy JoJo had her heart set on from the first day of filming.

Even host Chris Harrison dropped major hints about JoJo and Jordan, making it obvious to many fans that the ex-NFL player from Chino, California, would become JoJo’s final pick. According to a previous report from The Inquisitr, Chris claims that the relationship between Fletcher and Rodgers is “100 real” and the couple had chemistry from the minute Jordan stepped out of the limo.

However, despite the on-screen chemistry they had, their relationship may have already fizzled out, with blogger Reality Steve stating that although they may appear together as a couple on the August 1 After the Final Rose special, they won’t make it to the altar.

When asked by a reader how long it would be before JoJo and Jordan released a statement to the media about their breakup, Steve said he didn’t want to guess but is confident that a wedding isn’t in their future.

“I hate guessing on stuff like this because if I say 3 months, and they last 6 months, some moron will inevitably say, ‘You were wrong on how long you thought they’d last,'” Steve stated in his weekly ‘Reader Emails’ column. “All I know is they aren’t getting married.”

Of course, there will be many fans who hold out hope for the couple, but the odds are stacked against them — breakups are more common than marriages in the Bachelor franchise.

While there’s a distinct possibility that the couple will make the media rounds after the Bachelorette season finale and lead people to believe they are totally in love, the real truth is that most of the couples who meet on either the Bachelor or Bachelorette have a hard time taking their brief on-screen relationship into the real world.

WetPaint reports that only three Bachelorette couples have gotten married in the past 11 seasons — Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., and Desiree and Chris. Even worse? There has been only one marriage in the past 20 seasons of the Bachelor — Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici. Well, make that two if you want to count Jason Mesnick’s marriage to his runner-up, Molly Malaney.

Whether JoJo and Jordan stay together for several months to enjoy the perks of being an engaged Bachelorette couple or break up shortly after the season finale, Reality Steve says JoJo will be fine either way.

“Do I think they’ll last? Not a chance in hell. Whether or not she gets married in the whole grand scheme of things isn’t really all that important. She will be fine after this show and move on from this. JoJo is a smart girl and realizes that this show was an opportunity to build her brand.”

Watch the two-hour Bachelorette Season 12 finale starting at 8 p.m. ET on August 1 followed by the live After the Final Rose special at 10 p.m. ET.
