Kristen Stewart Comfortable With Nude Scene In ‘On The Road’

Good news for creepers! Kristen Stewart goes topless in her new film On The Road, based on the oft-cited-by-college-students novel of the same name by Jack Kerouac. For Stewart, going topless didn’t actually bother her, and she thanks director Walter Salles for her on-set comfort.

Uh oh.

“It didn’t bother me,” the 22-year-old Twilight alumnus told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival. “You can do no wrong with [Salles]. He puts so much inside of you,” she explains.

Uh oh!

“In the four-week rehearsal process, it was OK to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really over-analyze everything and intellectualize everything,” Stewart explained.

Meh.

Stewart, who will next be seen in the final Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 2, said that she and her On The Road co-stars were so completely entrenched in their roles and so prepared for shooting that they were allowed rare on-set freedoms, such as the permission to improvise lines. Stewart admits that this freedom proved more intimidating than her nude scene, reports NBC News.

“Once we got to set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us,” she said of director Salles. “So it was like, ‘OK, so I have to take my clothes off?’ It’s so not a big [deal].”

Uhohuhohuhoh!

All cattiness aside, we wish Stewart luck in all her future endeavors. We know she’s not very good with the media, so we’ll write her a hall pass on this one. Just be a little bit more careful how you talk about your directors for a little while, Ms. Stewart. A lower-brow gossip site might take some of those comments the wrong way!

On The Road hits theaters on December 1. In addition to Kristen Stewart, the film stars Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst and Sam Riley.
