‘Vanderpump Rules’ News: One Cast Member Confirmed For Smaller Role Next Season
Bravo is already filming a new season of Vanderpump Rules and fans can’t wait to see it air. The thing is, one cast member is confirming that her part this season is a lot smaller than it was in the past. The cast of this show has changed from time to time. Stassi Schroeder was gone for a bit, but now she is back and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Radar Online shared the news that Lala Kent will not be on the next season near as much as she was on the last one. Less Lala means less drama for sure, but Vanderpump Rules is never without some kind of drama. On this recent season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala was seen hooking up with James, flirting with Jax, and was a great addition to the cast of the show. Now it turns out Lala Kent won’t be around near as much.
Rumors were flying that Lala Kent wasn’t even going to be on the show at all. Vanderpump Rules was seen filming, and she wasn’t there. Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, Scheana Marie Shay, and Kristen Doute have all been spotted filming. So far, it sounds like all of the guys will be back again. Now Lala Kent’s rep has confirmed that she will be on the show next season, but just in a smaller role. Her rep said, “Lala is a part of season five. To what extent is still unknown due to other opportunities she has decided to take advantage of.” No word just yet on what else Lala Kent has going on, but fans hope she is going to share with them.
Lala Kent has been spotted in Las Vegas with James Kennedy recently. The two aren’t dating anymore, but they are still friends and doing some work together. One thing that is coming up is the wedding of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney. They have already revealed that they do not have plans to invite Lala Kent to their big day, so that is one thing she won’t be around for when it airs.
ET Online actually shared that Tom and Katie’s big wedding has a date now, but Lala won’t be invited. They are planning to the tie the knot on August 15 according to sources. The source shared that the wedding will be at Twenty Mile House in Northern California and that it will be filmed for the show. This is one episode that Lala Kent obviously won’t be on, and that has nothing to do with other stuff that she has going on right now. This is something that fans are really excited to see. It took Tom a long time to even pop the question. Not long ago Katie shared how happy she was with his proposal.
“I was very caught off guard. It was very much a surprise, but it was very much Schwartz fashion. I’ve told him we should be very progressive, and [he should] take my last name. He doesn’t like that idea.”
It sounds like the choice to be on the next season less was Lala Kent’s choice and not something that Lisa Vanderpump chose to do. Hopefully, if the show comes back again, Lala will be back in full force. Only time will tell what is going to happen with her role on the show.
