Kylie Jenner Reveals Anti-Bullying Nail Colors For Beauty Line, Admits To Feeling Bullied Whole Life

Kylie Jenner is using her popularity and her successful beauty line to give back. The reality star has created three new shades of nail polish to raise funds for an anti-bullying organization and an LGBT center in Los Angeles, California.

Sticking with the famous family’s “K” theme, Kylie named the shades, “Kompassionate,” “Kourageous,” and “Konfident.” The colors will be up for auction until Friday on Charitybuzz.com.

To develop the products for the cause, the teen collaborated with SinfulColors. The limited edition set of three nail colors is rightly called #IAmMoreThan with the hopes of enlightening and educating her young followers and fans about bullying and how to put an end to it.

Kylie ran a campaign via social media using the same #IAmMore hashtag in order to tell the stories of people who had been bullied. Although Jenner has faced bullying herself in her youth, she admitted that she felt people would have a hard time feeling sympathy for her, and she turned to stories from fans and friends she had contact with.

The New Zealand Herald shared her words.

“I feel like if I came out and just told my story about bullying, people really wouldn’t have sympathy which I am okay with. I really wanted to give people with real stories an opportunity to share their story and inspire my fans because they have inspired me so much.”

The teen spoke openly with Ellen on her hit show last year, and she revealed how the issue of bullying hits close to home for her as she felt she had been bullied “her whole life.”

“People are so quick to say horrible things about me everyday over and over and sometimes I can’t take it. Even I at times get affected by it, I break down, I hide, I cry. It’s resulted in a lot of anxiety for me that I’ve never had to deal with before ever.”

The star has faced scrutiny over the changes that have been made to her body and face over the past couple of years, yet she has also gained a massive following due to her ability to take her love for beauty and create her own successful side business. Kylie Lip Kits have been a huge hit, selling out immediately following each new launch of lip color, and Jenner also gives informative beauty tutorials by way of her own website.

The teen was also recognized by Time Magazine for her top-selling beauty app that she launched last year, which outsold her older sister Kim’s app. With all the success Kylie has experienced, there are bound to be some pitfalls. Lately, that came when the Better Business Bureau gave her Kylie Lip Kits company an “F” rating due to customer complaints. However, the BBB withdrew the grade upon the expectation that Jenner and her company would improve the areas that were causing problems.

Kylie shared her intentions about getting her brand to where it should be to receive the “A” grade she wants. After stating that she is “sick and tired” of people “coming for her” and her business, the 18-year-old vowed to make changes in the manner things are handled at Kylie Lip Kits.

People shared the star’s words.

“You guys are the reason I keep going and I’m motivated every day to make Kylie Cosmetics the best it can be. I’m continuing to learn and I just want to make everyone happy. Because so many of you spoke out, I’m excited to tell you that the Better Business Bureau has looked at the facts and changed the rating.”

The proceeds from the #IAmMore campaign are set to go to the Stomp Out Bullying organization and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
