Miranda Lambert Releases Her First New Song Since Blake Shelton Split

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may have both moved on from each other, but since that happened, Miranda hasn’t been putting out a lot of music. Actually, she hasn’t put out anything new since their big split over a year ago. They announced their divorce last July after it was already done. Her fans have been ready for more from her, and it is finally here. E! Online shared that Miranda Lambert just put out her first new song since her split from Blake. This new song is called “Vice” and sounds like it may have been something she wrote while she was healing from the big split. Blake Shelton has already put out a few songs that he obviously wrote during this rough time in his life.

This song came out almost two years after her album, titled Platinum, was released. The lyrics show someone going through a rough time, which Miranda knows a bit about. Here is part of what Miranda says in her new song.

“Another vice, another call, another bed I shouldn’t crawl out of. At 7 a.m, with shoes in my hand said I wouldn’t do it, but I did it again / And I know I’ll be back tomorrow night. Sweet salvation on a dining room table / Waiting on me, where the numb meets the lonely. It’s gone before it ever melts the ice.”

So far, Miranda Lambert hasn’t put out a video for “Vice,” but she does have an audio video so that fans can hear this song. The start of the song is just Miranda’s beautiful voice talking about the alcohol bottle waiting on her. She goes on to talk about this vice. She also admits she might just be addicted to goodbyes. It makes you wonder how much of this song Miranda Lambert really went through over the last year.

People also shared a bit more about Miranda Lambert’s new song “Vice” and what she has been up to lately. Miranda recently celebrated her new boyfriend Anderson’s East birthday. It does look like she is happy and excited about her life after Blake.

Miranda Lambert may not have put out new music in a while, but that doesn’t mean the singer isn’t busy. She has been headlining her own tour and also going out to a few concerts with Kenny Chesney. Miranda putting out new music has fans hopeful that this means that Lambert has been working on a new album as well.

Another thing Miranda Lambert has been doing is finding love. She is now dating Anderson East, and things are going great. A source recently shared, saying, “Miranda adores Anderson. They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn’t felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers.” This relationship seems to be going great.

Blake Shelton has moved on as well and started dating Gwen Stefani. He has surprised her on stage more than once recently, and it looks like his relationship is blooming. The fact that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were getting a divorce shocked a lot of fans, but it does look like they have both moved on to find love with someone new since their split. It doesn’t look like there is any way that these two will ever get back together.
