Kim Kardashian Sent Taylor Swift Yeezy Sneakers? [Rumors]

Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift may continue to be the talk of the town for the entire week. You may have missed a pretty epic stream of tweets Sunday night, when Twitter found out Kim Kardashian had uploaded some pretty exposing content on her Snapchat account.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star basically exposed Taylor Swift acknowledging the lyrics of Kanye West’s song “Famous,” while on the phone with Ye before his album The Life of Pablo came out. There was a #KimExposedTaylorParty on Twitter and Swift responded claiming this footage had been edited to make her look bad.

Today, Hollywood Life claims that Kim is making an effort to make amends (or is making another diss). The site has learned exclusively that Kim sent Swift a pair of Kanye West’s Yeezy sneakers. This does seem like an odd gesture after everything that just happened and could only mean two things: either this is some sort of an attempt at an apology, which seems a bit weird, or it’s Kim throwing more shade at Taylor.

Not only that, the publication claims that Swift’s 23-year-old friend and fellow singer Selena Gomez – who also got into a bit of trouble with some tweets of her own on Sunday night – was sent a pair of Yeezy’s. That sounds even more strange, since Kim would really have no reason to interact with Selena, unless this is just pouring more salt into the wound.

“Taylor’s isn’t standing on solid ground now that Kim’s exposed her for the fake she is,” their source claims. “Kim understands that Taylor and Selena are are trembling in their boots and could use such strong back as they try to stand up and face the world today. And only a pair of Yeezy Boost can provide that kind of support.”

Unfortunately, Gossip Cop tells us that this is all untrue – Kim Kardashian didn’t send Taylor any Yeezy’s. Nor did Gomez receive a pair of Yeezy’s. GC points out the fact that Hollywood Life‘s alleged “source” stated the age of Kim and Selena in their statements to the site, which definitely wouldn’t make any sense.

For example, according to how it is written on their website, the source says “Kim, 35, literally took Taylor’s legs out from underneath her. The poor girl doesn’t even know what hit her.”

Adding Kardashian’s age in like that, telling this to what is supposed to be a reputable online publication that should already know that information, definitely smells fishy and sounds phony. And depending on how good of an ear you have for dialogue, the wordage used in the statement makes it sounds a bit fabricated as well.

Apparently, a rep for Kardashian laughed at the “exclusive” story, saying that none of it is true. After all, if you know what Kim actually did, there really is no need for additional retaliation at the moment. Kim’s point has been made loud and clear.

Remember way back in February, when The Life of Pablo was released and everybody heard the song “Famous”? The controversial lyrics – “I made that b**** famous” – caused an uproar for a lot of people, including Taylor Swift and her team.

Kanye West insured everyone that he got Swift’s permission before he released the song and the album, but that was disputed by Taylor’s rep.

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric.”

So, everyone at this point doesn’t really know what to believe. And when Taylor Swift won her Grammy for Album of the Year, for 2014’s 1989, her speech seemed to refer to West when she told young women everywhere to be wary of people who may “undercut your success.” Needless to say, West and Kardashian couldn’t have been happy about that.

Well, what Kim Kardashian did last night was expose the phone conversation Taylor and Kanye had about the song, releasing clips of the recorded conversation through Snapchat. In the conversation, you can hear Taylor acknowledging how nice it was of Kanye to get her permission beforehand. The entire conversation in general seems to strongly suggest that Swift was not only aware of the song “Famous,” but even helped Ye suss some of the lyrics out before release.

Taylor Swift’s response on Instagram, however, claims that the “that b****” section of that particular lyric was never mentioned to her. Whatever the case may be, we have definitely entered into a new phase of the ongoing Kanye West/Taylor Swift drama – one that now includes Kim Kardashian.
