Tara Reid? And ?Jenny McCarthy??’s Childish ‘Sharknado’ Interview

Jenny McCarthy and Tara Reid had a pretty interesting exchange with one another during a Sirius XM interview recently, if you were previously unaware. Last week, it turns out that McCarthy made some pretty rude comments aimed at Reid as the two had a healthy exchange of passive-aggressive insults.

Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy, who also hosts The Jenny McCarthy Show, interviewed actress Tara Reid who was promoting Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens. The TV movie, which premieres July 31 on the Syfy channel, is the fourth entry in a tongue-in-cheek series of disaster horror films, but that’s not what McCarthy wanted to discuss apparently.

Instead, McCarthy, 43, wanted to talk about Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, which Tara Reid, 40, appeared in, reports People. The actress was hesitant to get into any details involving her relationship problems with her ex, Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayov. Jenny McCarthy, however, didn’t really care.

“I f***ing love you on that show, but are you glad you did it?,” McCarthy asked.

“It’s not worth the time to talk about,” Reid replied, who obviously did not want to discuss the topic. “There’s confusing things about it. We are not talking about it.”

But Jenny kept on probing, anyway. She kept telling Tara how in love with the show she was and Tara had to interrupt her to steer the conversation back to Sharknado. “Babe, I asked you, please let’s not talk about this show,” Reid said. “We’re all here about Sharknado.”

And McCarthy was able to stay on topic after this, although her next question really seemed to baffle the actress. Reid was asked if she had to work out and get in great shape for the role, and Tara implied that amount of effort wouldn’t really be necessary for a film such as this — one titled Sharknado that features fake sharks.

Tara Reid’s history with plastic surgery was the next topic on the list. McCarthy thought it would be interesting to know whether or not the actress was still getting surgery, and at this point, Tara was becoming increasingly more frustrated.

“No, I haven’t had any surgery for a while, Jenny,” the actress replied. She then stayed silent and started talking with a fan who was trying to get her attention behind her. Things got a little more immature when Jenny forced Tara back into the conversation, continuing to ask whether or not Reid would go under the knife again.

“I think I’ve made that clear, like, about 100 times,” Tara replied. Shortly after this, Reid decided it was time to end the interview and leave — but not before the two of them shared condescending goodbyes one after the other.

Tara Reid confirmed the whole thing with TMZ, claiming that Jenny McCarthy never issued an apology for what happened during the interview. Reid went on to say that she felt “bullied and attacked.”

As it turns out, the actress sort of went through a similar ordeal on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, in an episode that aired July 1 earlier this month. Reid had another showdown with a co-star of the reality series, Lisa D’Amato.

D’Amato, 35, brings up the fact that she has been sensing tension between Reid and herself, and at that point she literally challenges the actress to a stare-down.

“Lisa is always jumping into everyone else’s business and criticizing them, but yet she doesn’t [remain open to criticism] herself,” Tara said during the episode.

D’Amato taunted her as Reid gave her full eye contact, something D’Amato claims the actress is too afraid to do.

“Look in my eyes, Lisa,” she told Reid. “Here’s eye contact. What part of this don’t you get? I’m not afraid of you. You want to start a fight? I’m not scared of you. You want to go there? I’m not going to do it.”

“Don’t be my fan — be my friend,” Reid told her, after D’Amato claimed that she was a fan and did not want to fight. “Don’t even be my friend — be in the house.”

Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs on We tv Fridays at 9:00 p.m. ET. Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens premieres on July 31 on the Syfy channel.
