Jamie Dornan’s Wife Amelia Warner Gets ‘Controlling’ and ‘Paranoid’ On ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Set

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are reportedly getting closer on the set of Fifty Shades Darker. When they shot Fifty Shades of Grey, the actors seemed quite uncomfortable, which clearly translated onscreen. Johnson and Dornan got criticized for their lack of chemistry, but this time around, a new report revealed that fans will finally see a connection between the two stars. This, however, allegedly got Dornan’s wife, Amelia Warner, a bit worried.

According to Hollywood Life, Dakota Johnson felt awkward during the filming of her first movie with Jamie Dornan. It also did not help that she was having relationship problems with on-again, off-again boyfriend Matthew Hitt. While she has always been comfortable with her own skin, she found it difficult to put herself in Anastasia Steele’s character.

“During the first film they really didn’t work well with each other and to add to the fact, she [Dakota] was having relationship issues at the time and it was just a weird experience to get used to it all with the stress of the nudity and everything; It just really got to both of them,” the insider said.

The vibe around Johnson and Dornan, however, reportedly changed on the set of Fifty Shades Darker. While Johnson continues to be “very fun loving and goofy” on set and Dornan “a little more serious,” the two were able to find balance. They are also determined to make the sequel much better than its predecessor.

“On the set now they are totally cool with each other and are having a great time, and really want to make the film awesome!”

With the growing closeness between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that his wife, Amelia Warner, cannot help but feel jealous and insecure. It has long been rumored that Jamie and Dakota were having an affair behind Amelia’s back so it did not come as a surprise when she decided to tag along in a recent trip to France. The outlet reported that Amelia appeared to be “controlling” and “paranoid.”

“Eyewitnesses say that the 34-year-old actor couldn’t break free from his wife, despite working on a honeymoon scene with Dakota Johnson. Amelia Warner is perhaps so paranoid about a possible Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson romance brewing that she even joined them in the water for a swim at one point.”

CDL speculated that Warner’s behavior would only fuel the divorce rumors further. While The Fall actor said countless of times that his wife is not at all jealous of Johnson, her recent behavior seemed to contradict Dornan’s initial statement. Rather than keeping an eye on her husband, the publication pointed out that Warner should focus her attention on their two kids instead. With Warner watching their every move, Dornan and Johnson may feel too self-conscious, worrying that Warner may read too much in the scenes. Given that the Fifty Shades of Grey stars won a Razzle Award for Worst Couple this year, they cannot afford to make the same mistake in the sequel.

Early this year, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Jamie Dornan was starting to worry that his wife would slip into post-partum depression. As an actress herself, Amelia Warner understood that Dornan had to act a certain way around his onscreen partner, Dakota Johnson. Photos of the two having fun off-cam, however, has become too much for her to handle. While she is aware that the two had to heat things up on the set of Fifty Shades Darker, she is starting to worry that there may be something more between them.

“It’s never easy to come off any labor and delivery – it takes a toll on your emotions and your body – but knowing your hubby is engaged in very naughty play with another woman may be too much to handle.”
