Football fans itching for some international action since the Euro 2016 came to a close last week are in luck, with streaming video of the England vs. Croatia match available for fans who want to watch the European Under-19 Championship online.

After England’s senior side ended the Euro 2016 with a disappointing exit, British football fans get another chance to see their national team win a title when their U19 team takes the pitch in Germany. The English team puts their perfect record on the line on Monday against Croatia, having already clinched a spot in the semifinal and looking like the sharpest team in the tournament so far.

The teams meet Monday in Heidenheim, Germany, for a 12 p.m. kickoff (10 a.m. GMT).

For fans not as familiar with the youth side of the UEFA European tournament, the U19 takes place across three stages. The qualifying round took place in the fall of last year, with 13 groups playing in what the UEFA described as “one-venue mini-tournaments.” The top two from each group progressed along with the third-place team with the best record against the top pair in their group.

The elite round took place in the spring, with 27 qualifiers playing in seven mini-tournament groups of four. The group winners joined the host team in the finals.

In the final tournament, the seven qualifying teams joined the host team in two groups of four. The top two teams from each side progress to the semifinal — which England has already done.

As coach Aidy Boothroyd told Sky Sports, the performance of the England U19 team shows that its “not all doom and gloom” for English football after the disappointing exit from the European Championship tournament this summer.

“We have settled in really well,” said Boothroyd. “We have worked all season to get to this point and know it’s about making the most of our opportunity.”

The team is made up of players who have already seen international success, winning the European U17 Championship in Malta in 2014. There are some familiar faces too, Sky Sports noted, including Dominic Solanke who scored the winning goal against France in this year’s tournament, and two years ago netted goals in both the semifinal and final.

Fans who watch the England vs. Croatia football match live online will see if Solanke can continue his torrid run through the European U19 tournament. He has been recognized by UEFA.com as one of the brightest stars of the tournament to date. The Chelsea striker was already the top scorer in the 2014 U17 Championship, and has set the tone again with some key goals, including the equalizer against the Netherlands.

Boothroyd noted that Solanke’s presence — and the depth of experience beyond him — has helped push England to a berth already in the semifinal with an extra game left to play.

“It’s helpful that there’s a core group of about six or seven of the squad that were part of that victory in Malta,” said Boothroyd. “That’s what we’re trying to do: produce players who can go on to play for the senior team.”

“I think playing tournaments and winning competitions is what the development team is all about. The fact that we won in Malta has been really useful in the build-up and we’ve been able to tap into those experience. Perhaps we’re also a little wiser to some of the pitfalls.”
