Madonna’s Brother Chris Ciccone Makes Peace With Sister

Chris Ciccone has had quite the interesting relationship with his sister Madonna. For thirty years he acted as her number one confidant from touring to her personal life. However, that all changed when Chris, 51, wrote a scathing tell-all book in 2008 about his sister. The bestseller revealed everything there was to know about popular sister Madonna, who he said was bossy, sweaty, capricious and mean.

The scathing tell-all left the interior designer without a lifeline or income. Now, the designer who has a shoe line says he’s back on his a-game and has found peace with Madonna. Ciccone says of his sister:

“I couldn’t be more proud of her. She is a force to be reckoned with. Does she have Barbra Streisand’s voice? No. Can she dance like Martha Graham? Probably not. But the combination of her abilities has made her great, and left a huge legacy for her, and through her, for me. So yeah, God bless her.”

Ciccone is optimistic about the relationship he has with his sister, even though in his book he claims most of the family is estranged from her and her children, Lourdes, Rocco, and David. On the current status of his relationship with Madonna, Ciccone says:

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re good. We are in contact with each other, although I haven’t seen her for a long time. We’re back to being a brother and sister. I don’t work for her, and it’s better this way.”

Do you think Madonna will be able to get over the tell-all betrayal?
