Gwen Stefani And Eve Tour Gets Off To A Rough Start?

The latest tour for Gwen Stefani, which involves appearances by rapper Eve, has apparently gotten a shaky start due to poor ticket sales and worries shared directly from Stefani, indicating that she fears not being able to give 100 percent.

The tour for Stefani’s latest solo album, This is What the Truth Feels Like, has been making headlines, but not for the good reasons fans would expect from the blonde bombshell. As the Source notes, worries about a disappointing return for the star began when Live Nation sent an email to its subscribers telling them that tickets for Gwen and Eve’s show could be purchased at the low cost of $10 per ticket, or four tickets for $40.

The tour is Stefani’s first in nearly a decade and she recently shared her fears about touring in general, seeing as the last time she headed out resulted in pure exhaustion. The publication shares the hollaback girl’s words in regards to her feelings about touring.

“Every time I go out on stage, I have to do my very best… You can’t just walk through it. You have to be in it, and it’s exhausting. And I think that’s one of the reasons I haven’t toured in seven years, because the last tour I did almost killed me, after having those two babies and then going on tour and nursing.”

The tour is named after Gwen’s latest album, which did do very well when it dropped. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 albums chart, which earned Stefani her first top album as a solo musician.

The tour kicked off in Boston at the Xfinity Center, where Gwen hollered to her fans, “This is really fun!” she then continued, “I didn’t know what to expect.” The performer began the show by singing some of her biggest hits from previous albums, including “Just a Girl,” “Hella Good,” and “Wind It Up.” Eve then joined Stefani on stage for their previous collaborations, “Let Me Blow Your Mind” and “Rich Girl.”

The duo will continue to tour the U.S. until October, and hopefully Gwen won’t be too exhausted by the end. Despite her worries that go along with touring, it’s clear that the songstress loves her fans and actually gets a high from being onstage every night. During the opening night, Gwen made this clear, as the publication relays.

“All my homies showed up tonight? You have to understand how starving — absolutely starving — I am for you guys.”

So, although there were initial fears about the success of the tour, it seems that Stefani and Eve have gotten off to a pretty great start. As for ticket sales, they’ll likely pick up as word gets out about the entertaining duo’s performance. Although No Doubt and Gwen have been off the tour scene for quite some time, fans will surely easily be coaxed into showing support and love for their favorite front woman once more.

Stefani also made a stunning appearance on the Today Show, where she dazzled viewers in a sexy body suit. While in New York, the star and her loving country singer beau, Blake Shelton, were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant, as TMZ reports.

“Gwen Stefani still has Blake Shelton head over heels for her 8 months into their relationship if what he’s drinking is any indication. Blake took Gwen on a romantic dinner date Thursday night at Trattoria Dell’Arte in Midtown Manhattan. We’re told they ordered a 2011 bottle of Silver Oak Cabernet, which goes for $140 with dinner. No biggie, except Blake’s usually a whiskey guy… so he’s still smitten, for sure.”
