Crashing UFO Spacecraft Releases ‘Escape Pod’ Over Vancouver B.C., According To Alien Conspiracy Theorists [Video]

A resident of Vancouver, B.C., in Canada, has captured footage showing a burning UFO releasing an “escape pod” as it crashed to Earth, UFO conspiracy theorists claim.

Katherine Ramdeen captured the footage from her home — looking out East from downtown Vancouver — on June 3, 2016. But she did not notice anything unusual at the time she captured the footage. She discovered the mysterious UFO on July 13, 2016 while going through images and clips stored on her phone and uploaded the footage (see below) online.

The witness reported filming what appeared to be only a “strange-looking cloud phenomenon” from her home in downtown Vancouver. But while reviewing the video, she noticed that it shows an object with “incredible maneuverability and speed.”

UFO conspiracy theory analysts claim that the video shows a mysterious burning UFO streaking across the sky and falling earthward. As the burning UFO crashes to Earth, it apparently releases an “escape pod” that shoots up into the sky as if due to a powerful propulsive force.

The escape pod then makes a complex mid-air maneuver and flies away from the burning and crashing UFO, according to UFO Sightings Hotspot.

“I saw a strange looking cloud outside my home in downtown Vancouver B.C., and I took some pictures of it and decided to get a video too,” the witness wrote in the description of her video. “I don’t know what I’m looking at. It seems to ‘materialize’ and then vanish within seconds. The object’s maneuverability and speed is incredible.”

“The object was discovered today, July 13, 2016, while going through my pictures on my phone.”

“I’m upset I didn’t keep recording, as you can see at the end of the video, the object is clearly visible,” Ramdeen continued. “But I had recorded a cloud for a minute and thought I got enough out of this cloud phenomenon.”

“The video has not been digitally tampered with at all, except for slowing it down in certain spots to highlight the UFO,” the YouTuber assured viewers.

“[The UFO] seems to ‘materialize’ and then vanish within seconds. The object’s maneuverability and speed is incredible.”

According to the UFO blogger Scott C. Waring, the UFO may have been using the long smoky trail to “cloak” itself.

“It [footage] shows a dark UFO leaving a long contrail, presumably that it had made to hide in,” Waring wrote on his UFO Sightings Daily blog. “This UFO turns and passes behind the cloudy trail, then moves away to the left.”

But some skeptics argued that the alleged “escape pod” was probably an “out of focus insect.”

“Would strongly consider an out of focus insect near the lens that appears to come into better focus … presumably because it is moving further away,” a skeptic commented.

Despite widespread skepticism, UFO hunters have pushed multiple claims of crashing UFOs jettisoning “escape pods” in recent years.

In January 2015, a video purporting to show a burning UFO streaking across the night sky over southern California and releasing an “escape pod” as it crashed to Earth went viral online.

The footage, titled “UFO Crashing Releases Orb Over Southern California,” was first uploaded to YouTube by user Ken Roberts who claimed to have captured the footage while driving back home from work.

The clip appeared to show a glowing orb shooting upward forcefully after being released from a larger orb. Some skeptics suggested it was a meteorite and that it was not unusual for meteorites to disintegrate as they fall to Earth.

But believers argued that meteorite fragments do not shoot straight up into the sky as if propelled by powerful thrusters.

Excitement over the footage died down eventually after experts analyzed it and declared it to be a hoax (see below).

A series of UFO sighting reports filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), along with video footage allegedly showing UFOs dropping “landing pods” over multiple locations across the country (see videos below), prompted some conspiracy theorists to raise alarm that a stealth alien invasion of Earth may be underway, The Inquisitr reported in February.

The details of the multiple UFO sighting reports by independent witnesses were remarkably similar. Witnesses claimed to have sighted mysterious glowing orbs dropping “landing pods.”

Conspiracy theorists speculated the reports suggested that alien invaders were planting sleeper cells across the country.

A witness reported (MUFON Case 52934) sighting a glowing orb UFO dropping “landing pods” over Boise, Idaho, in December 24, 2013.

“I grabbed my camera and got it into view just in time to see it drop another orb, but this one was flashing.”

The sighting was corroborated independently by two witnesses who submitted reports filed with MUFON as Cases 52930 (see video below) and 52942.

A remarkably similar sighting, filed as Case 53762, was reported over Spokane Valley, Washington, at about 7 p.m. on January 26, 2014 (see video below).

Footage purportedly showing a mysterious glowing orb hovering in the sky over Fairbanks, Alaska, and releasing multiple smaller orbs, also went viral online in May 2016.

The footage appears to show a pulsating orb dropping three smaller orbs to the ground.
