Marcus Grodd Feels Played By Lacy Faddoul: Is She Making A Joke Of The Marriage?

Marcus Grodd quickly fell in love with Lacy Faddoul on Bachelor In Paradise a few seasons ago, and the two got married on the show last year. But as it turns out, the wedding on Bachelor In Paradise wasn’t legal, and the relationship really didn’t last too much longer. Even though Lacy hasn’t really said much about their relationship to the media, Marcus feels that he has to share his story with the Bachelor fans because he feels he was completely tricked by the blonde woman.

According to a new US Weekly report, Marcus Grodd is now revealing what went wrong between them, and how he feels completely played by her after they returned home from Mexico. As it turns out, things changed not long after the wedding in Mexico. The two had plans of getting married for real when he returned home from Marine training. The two had merely posed for a wedding in Mexico for the cameras and when they came home, Faddoul kept resisting any plans to get married. Marcus Grodd found her hesitation unusual, but gave her time to think about it.

After his Marine training in early 2016, the two grew apart. Despite only spending a few weeks apart, they didn’t really talk. The last time they spoke was in March, and Grodd started seeing photos online where she used the hashtag #RunawayBride. Marcus Grodd found it was really weird, but it was even more odd that she couldn’t talk to him about it. Why was he learning about her feelings on Instagram, along with the rest of the world?

“I don’t feel angry by any means — I just feel disappointed in how she’s moving on and making it more as a joke than anything,” Marcus Grodd has revealed to US Weekly in the months after their split, adding, “It was more disappointment of seeing what she’s done and been posting, rather than being angry about it.”

At the time, Lacy didn’t seem to be dating anyone else, but Marcus may have felt used by the entire thing. As he explains to the magazine, he felt completely played because it seemed like she knew what she wanted and used him to get it.

“I definitely feel played,” Marcus continues even though she wasn’t dating other people, adding, “I don’t know if that’s accurate … but the emotions that I’m feeling are yeah, I feel played, especially how she’s acting now to everything. But that’s me thinking as being hurt from her, [and] seeing what she’s posted and said in the past to me.”

Apparently, Faddoul never told Grodd that she wanted the relationship to end. She just stopped talking to him and the distance between them grew bigger. As Grodd explains it, things were definitely changing on her side as he was just trying to figure out what was happening. And in the end, he admits that things did not seem real anymore.

“I don’t think everything in the end was real between us, and she just stuck on for [some reason],” Marcus Grodd says, adding, “That’s the only thing I would look back on or take back, is [I would ask] her just to end it whenever she felt like she wanted to and not progress with it, instead of me trying and being foolish and fooled by her.”

Marcus Grodd has previously talked about his relationship with Lacy, as he was the first one to break the news that they were no longer together, according to Hollywood Take. These days, he admits that he would be open to another reality television dating experience, but his guard would definitely be up.
