Jessa Duggar Quiet About Josh Duggar In ‘Jill And Jessa Counting On’ Season 2

With Jill and Jessa: Counting On just renewed for Season 2, Jessa Duggar has been taking it easy with her husband and baby. Her older sister Jill is continuing her mission in Central America with her husband Derick Dillard and her baby son Israel so Jessa has been able to focus on her young family. But now, rumors of her brother Josh Duggar appearing in Jill and Jessa: Counting On has picked up, sending her fans into a frenzy.

It only has been a few months since Josh Duggar left his six-month program in rehab, so it is a shocker that the 28-year-old may want to be thrown into the limelight again. The rumor, according to Hollywood Life, is that “Josh has regained interest in the reality TV world” despite the fact that people now associate him as a molester and child pornography watcher.

“Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters’ series,” a source said, according to Hollywood Life. “The plan is for him to address everything he’s done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC — and the Duggars — know it.”

He did his treatment at “a faith-based rehabilitation center in Rockford, Illinois,” when the reports of Josh having “had inappropriate contact with underage girls as a teenager” rocked the country, according to People Magazine.

The new mother of baby Spurgeon is choosing to remain silent about this matter, instead filling her Instagram of videos of her son crawling through the kitchen.

But she has expressed in the past that she is “ready to move forward” after the crisis her family faced with Josh Duggar.

“In the midst of what we were walking through, there definitely have to be periods where you’re like, ‘I don’t want cameras around,'” Jessa said, according to Entertainment Online. “But as we were talking together as siblings, we’re like, ‘You know what? If we can encourage even one other person out there who’s struggling, then that needs to be our goal.’ We’ve had a lot of healing in our family these past few months and we’re ready to move forward and share our lives.”

Her other siblings had similar sentiments and wanted to leave Josh Duggar scandal in the past as they move forward with Jill and Jessa: Counting On Season 2.

The devil took his best shot,” John-David Duggar said. “And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to — instead of tearing us apart as a family, he’s using it to draw us together, so for us, we’ve forgiven, and we’re moving on, and we’re looking to the future.”

The Duggars were adamant in not featuring their older brother in the season one of the new series so that the family can focus “on rebuilding their brand after his molestation scandal — and trying to move forward without rehashing the past,” according to TMZ.

Indeed, the family has moved forward, with another Duggar announcing her courtship.

Maybe they should think about editing the show’s title to Jill, Jessa, and Jinger: Counting On.

Whatever the future holds in Season 2, Jessa is happy enough to be enjoying a quiet domestic life with her husband, Ben Seewald, and her baby, Spurgeon. With her son growing up so quickly, she is more eager than ever to document his evolving cuteness on Instagram.

She also has been enjoying her newfound spotlight with her older sister Jill Duggar away in Central America doing missions work. She got the chance to visit her sister’s family, which was shown in the first season of Jill and Jessa: Counting On.
