Kourtney, Khloe, And Kim Kardashian Hit With $10 Million Lawsuit Bombshell & Sponsorship War

Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian often reveal sponsorship and endorsement deals on social media, ranging from weight loss teas to corset waist trainers. But now one such deal has backfired, resulting in a massive $10 million lawsuit, according to the Daily Mail, while an agreement involving a talent agency getting them sponsorship arrangements has also resulted in a war.

The three Kardashian sisters were slammed with the $10 million lawsuit from Haven Beauty, a cosmetics company. Haven Beauty alleges that Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim reneged on an agreement that required them to be the faces of their makeup products and requested that a judge not permit them to bad-mouth the company.

However, the Kardashian trio, in turn, claimed that Haven Beauty misrepresented them when it came to taking on the role of the faces for their cosmetics line, while the company feels it deserves the $10 million because of “damaging” comments made by Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars have been faced with lawsuits before. Just last month, a talent agency sued them with allegations that it had a pact that it would arrange deals for the famous family. The verbal agreement with the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) involved seeking endorsements for the Kardashians and Jenners, with a 15 percent cut for the fee.

In its lawsuit, the APA contends that it helped the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan accumulate millions. Deals ranged from hair products to fashion. But then the sisters allegedly abandoned the company in 2015, and the agency insists that it has not been paid since March 2015.

The deal involved Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian. Rob Kardashian is not included in the lawsuit, and the amount sought is described as “a substantial sum.”

However, a lawyer who represents the Keeping Up with the Kardashians sisters attacked the lawsuit as “frivolous and the height of dishonesty.” Describing the history, the attorney alleged that the agency hurt the Kardashians and Jenners’ bank accounts.

“The Kardashians and Jenners terminated APA in March 2015 for being incompetent and breaching their fiduciary duties, which cost the Kardashians and Jenners hundreds of millions of dollars.”

While all of the sisters are named in the agency’s endorsement and sponsorship lawsuit, Kim has become particularly famed for using her social media channels to make money with product promotions. Kardashian has repeatedly credited the Atkins diet, for example, for her weight loss, and Elle reports that Kim is “getting paid by Atkins.”

In addition, Kim has been promoting the use of a corset waist trainer since 2014, according to Yahoo Style. When Kardashian was slapped with claims that her waist was slimmed with Photoshop for a music video, she succeeded in clapping back at the haters while promoting her sponsorship of a waist trainer brand.

“A real person doesn’t look like that. Fake,” accused one person.

“It’s obviously photo shopped,” chimed in another.

In her response, Kim used the caption “F—YoPhotoshop #CorsetLife,” working in her waist-training sponsorship.

But Khloe isn’t leaving weight loss products out of the equation when it comes to her own sponsorships. She has shared photos of a weight loss tea.

“Still swear by this. kicks off my early morning starts like no other!!! Thank you @fittea! ???? #spon,” wrote Khloe, with the #spon identifying her sponsorship of the product.

However, some followers are getting wise to the sponsorship game, which may detract from the value noted in the current war that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians sisters have with the talent agent.

“My @fittea is helping me stay in shape this summer! ?? #spon,” wrote Kourtney for the caption.

“She prob gets like 50k to post this $$,” speculated one follower.
