One Woman’s Sex Session Was Interrupted By A Speeding Train Slicing Off Her Head

Pravda Report was the first English language news source to report the astounding and rather disturbing story of a Siberian woman being decapitated by a moving train while she was in the throes of an intimate moment with her lover. Since being reported yesterday, the story has gone viral.

Apparently, both the man and woman who partook in this bizarre sexual incident were both homeless and, for that reason, did not have access to a proper abode in which to carry out their carnal act. It might seem that the ground directly adjacent to the track of a running train would not be one of the top choices even for a couple without a bed, but Mirror‘s profiling of the incident suggests that the woman wanted to have sex in the exposed, rather risky location because it increased the thrill factor of the act.

The Pravda piece adds that the woman and man were also drunk, making their unconventional choice of venue a bit more understandable.

Admittedly, the area in which the accident happened was extremely remote – the Siberian region of Buryatia – and, even in the middle of the day, the man and woman knew there was only a one out of a hundred chance that a train would actually come by.

And even if it did, they were not so careless as to have sex directly on the tracks; they were one or two feet away from the rails.

In the middle of their love-making, the woman, who was on top, heard a noise. Apparently, the action had been passionate enough to where the man did not feel the vibrations of the oncoming train on the iron rails, because, by that time, the vehicle was only about one second away. The woman stood up instinctively, and she was greeted with thousands of tons of oncoming metal that knocked off her head in one fell swoop.

Perez Hilton relays that one employee at Russian Railways, the company that owns the train that took off the woman’s head, would later explain it had been the woman’s decision to get to her feet that had led to her demise.

“The woman was on top of her partner and when she heard an approaching train, she started to stand up. Right then, the speeding train torn her head off. Had she remained in her previous position, she would have stayed alive.”

The employee went on that the woman’s partner had been dazed – and probably psychologically scarred – but uninjured.

Although, as many sources imply, the incident was clearly a result of bad planning by the man and woman, many Russians have been viewing it as just another in a long line of railway accidents that reflect poorly on Russian Railways.

One other example of such an incident took place just a few days ago, when a woman and her two children got hit by a train while crossing the track. Apparently, the woman decided to cross the track (with her one and two-year old babies in tow) at an area where there was no crossing allowed. She proceeded to ignore the frantic honking and signaling from the oncoming train. The woman was struck, her younger child was killed, and she and the two year-old remain in critical condition.

What happened to the Russian women – both the homeless and now headless one and the former mother of two – is, of course, terrible, but should the railroad company really be blamed?

Regardless, the railroad released one very concise statement in an effort to prevent similar incidents in the future.

“Dear citizens, Russian Railways yet again ask you to respect health and safety rules, Be responsible and take care of yourself and your family and friends.”

Maybe Russian Railways should take a page out of Los Angeles Metro’s playbook and run a hilariously macabre series of train safety PSAs.
