Robby Hayes Of ‘Bachelorette’ Was Arrested For DUI In 2012: Get All The Details
Robby Hayes is obviously one of JoJo Fletcher’s favorites on The Bachelorette this season. Now it turns out that Robby was arrested for DUI back in 2012. This was a long time ago, but now that Robby is on reality television, the news is coming out. Radar Online shared the news about what Robby did and what the officer had to say about arresting him.

There have been rumors that Robby Hayes simply dumped his girlfriend Hope to be on The Bachelorette, but of course, he isn’t admitting that is true. Now word is coming out about his arrest that happened in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2012. Robby was stopped for crossing over the double solid lines while driving. The police report shows the details of what Robby Hayes allegedly did.
“The defendant said he probably needs to get his eyes checked. observed the defendant to have bloodshot and watery eyes. I smelled a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the defendant as he spoke to me. The defendant’s speech was slurred and talked with a thick tongue.”
Robby Hayes tried to say the road was narrow, and that is why he was driving that way. Robby also said that he was the designated driver for the night and tried to say that he hadn’t been drinking. The report went on to explain more.
“I asked the defendant if he would perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Exercises. The defendant said he knew the exercises were designed to trick him and wanted to know what the exercises were.”
After that, Robby Hayes tried to blame the weather. He wasn’t going to do be doing the tests no matter what. He was arrested and charged with DUI and careless driving. When Robby was arrested, his vehicle was released to Hope, who was his girlfriend at the time. There was another male in the car, who did say that he thought Robby had drunk a few drinks that night. Robby pleaded not guilty to the crime and even got it dismissed in court.
Next week it is time for the big hometown visits and JoJo Fletcher will be asking Robby all about the rumors that he dumped Hope to be on the show. It doesn’t sound like there will be any talk about the fact that he was arrested for DUI in the past, though. That shouldn’t be coming out at all on the show.

Hollywood Take shared a few spoilers about what it looks like will go down with JoJo Fletcher and Robby Hayes in the upcoming weeks on the show. The rumors are that Robby’s ex Hope will be the reason that JoJo breaks up with him and sends him home. They were together for years before he joined the show. In the finale preview, JoJo is seen telling one of the guys, “I fell in love with you. And I still love you. But what you did to me, it’s not right. But I wanted you to know that it’s really hard for me not to accept your love.”
JoJo did share one spoiler saying, “Each date got so much more serious. Jordan tells me he loves me, Robby tells me he’s in love with me; Chase [McNary] tells me he wants to spend his life with me. It’s all such big stuff. It’s very exciting but also overwhelming.”
