Teresa Giudice Walks Out Of Interview After Being Asked About Husband’s Deportation [Video]

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice sensationally stormed out of a July 14 interview with Access Hollywood Live after being asked about her husband’s, Joe Giudice’s, possible deportation.

Teresa was visibly annoyed after the show’s host quizzed the reality star about the possibility of Joe being deported back to Italy after completing his 41-month prison sentence, which he surrendered for back in March, refusing to answer if there’s a chance that Giudice could be deported before walking out on the interview completely.

“Do you worry that it’s the end of you family unit as you know it? Because there is all of this talk that Joe could be deported because he’s an Italian citizen,” Access Hollywood Live co-host Dave Karger asked Teresa, who was being interviewed alongside her sister-in-law and fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga. “Do you think about that?”

Teresa then refused to answer the question, hitting back, “Um, next question please!” before blasting Karger and co-host Kit Hoover as “rude” for even asking her about the possibility of Giudice being deported back to Italy for his crimes.

“I don’t think that that’s something that you should be asking,” Giudice continued, to which Hoover told Teresa, “well everybody’s talking about it.”

Teresa then slammed the two Access Hollywood Live co-hosts during the live interview on July 14, calling them “really rude” for asking her about Joe’s possible deportation and claiming that the scenario would not play out on the Bravo reality show.

Kit claimed that the possibility of Giudice being deported following his prison sentence was a “fact” and appeared to annoy Teresa further by suggesting that Joe being sent back to Italy could be a potential Real Housewives of New Jersey storyline.

“No. You’re not going to see that on the show,” Teresa replied. “As a matter of fact, I’m going to leave,” Giudice then said, getting up from her chair and storming out of the interview.

Teresa Giudice then continued to mumble as she walked out of shot, appearing to slam the Access Hollywood Live co-hosts once more by telling Melissa, “I don’t think that was appropriate.”

Dave and Kitt then clarified asking the sensitive question, telling viewers once again that it was a “fact” that Joe could be facing deportation while Karger admitted, “That’s a totally fair question.”

The Access Hollywood Live cameras then cut back to Melissa and Teresa, who were appearing on the show via satellite link from New York, showing that both had walked out of the interview.

While Giudice appears reluctant to discuss the scenario, it has long been reported that Joe Giudice could face possible deportation after serving out his 41-months behind bars for fraud.

According to People, Giudice has been living in the United States since he was one after being born in Italy, but despite living in the country for more than 40 years, has never officially become a U.S. citizen.

Prior to surrendering for his sentence in March, Joe spoke out about the possibility of being sent back to Italy, but admitted that he actually wasn’t worried about a potential deportation.

“I’m not even worried about that as far as that goes,” Giudice told People. “That, we’ll worry about when I get out.”

Joe also spoke out about what would happen to the Giudice family should he face deportation while Teresa was in prison last year, telling his and Teresa’s lawyer on the Bravo special The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In that he and his family would move to Italy together should he be deported.

“If, God forbid, you had to go, do you see Teresa and the girls moving to Italy with you?” lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. asked Joe on the reality special, to which Giudice admitted, “of course she would.”
