Jaycee Dugard Speaks Out, Reveals Being Forced To Wear Makeup, High Heels During Rapes

Ever since Jaycee Dugard was found after being held in captivity for 18 years, people have wondered what she went through. Jaycee wrote a book a while back, and now her new book is out, revealing a lot of what she went through all those years. Radar Online shared some of the terrible things that Jaycee Dugard dealt with during that rough time in her life.

It has been seven years since Jaycee Dugard was found. This 36-year-old woman is now explaining that she still remembers it all like it was just yesterday that it happened. She was just 11-years-old when she was taken, and Jaycee says at that young age, the man would make her wear high heels and makeup before he raped her. Jaycee’s book, Freedom: A Book of Firsts, reveals a lot about her past.

Jaycee Dugard went on to share some of the details.

“When a psycho grown-up man has kidnapped you and taken you away from everything you have known and loved and forces you to ‘dress up’ and put on makeup for his personal fantasies of having sex with a child — a very scared and afraid child, I might add — your viewpoint can change. I know mine has.”

Phillip Garrido is now in jail for 431 years for what he did to Jaycee Dugard. She goes on to explain that she didn’t understand at all why he did things the way he did to her.

“Why would someone who has kidnapped a child of eleven then force her to dress up for him and put on lots of makeup and high heels? What’s the point of kidnapping a child and then trying to make her look older?”

This wasn’t all that Jaycee Dugard shared, though. It turns out that she used to have dreams of killing Phillip. Of course, Jaycee never did anything to him, but she shared the details.

“Phillip is there in the room and he goes to hurt my youngest daughter, so I jump at him and knock him down and put my hands around his throat. I’m choking him. I press and press harder, and then he dies, and I wake up.”

Now that Jaycee Dugard has been found, she is doing well and is living a normal life. She has two daughters that were born during her time with Phillip; Jaycee had her first child at just the young age of 14.

USA Today went on to share more about what Jaycee Dugard has to say about how she is doing now. Jaycee shared that people tell her she is strong and brave, but she just feels lucky. A lot of things that are not important to other people are huge for her like getting to fly in an airplane. However, she still gets nervous sometimes. Jaycee shared about a night that made her really nervous once when her flight was canceled.

“After what felt like hours of riding in a stranger’s cab, I thought to myself, ‘Where is he taking me? Does he know where to go? Is he taking me somewhere to rape and kill me?…’ I gave myself permission to have all these thoughts because I felt like if I thought about all the things that could happen, then they wouldn’t. It’s the things you don’t think about that get you.”

Jaycee Dugard was actually scared to explore the city on her own. Things are improving for her, but at the same time, Jaycee will always remember what happened to her for those 18 years.
