Lamar Odom Son’s Tearfully Confronts Former NBA Star After Crack Pipe Discovery [Report]
Lamar Odom appears to have ditched his short-lived sobriety.
Months after Lamar Odom suffered a near-fatal drug overdose after partying at a legal brothel in Nevada, a crack pipe was reportedly discovered at the Calabasas home where he had been living since his hospital release.
Earlier this week, TMZ revealed Lamar Odom had been kicked out of the home that Khloe Kardashian had rented for him as he recovered after drug paraphernalia was found on the property by family members.

In recent weeks, Lamar Odom has seemingly been spinning out of control, and several reports regarding his drinking habits have been reported. However, when it comes to his drug use, he could be putting his life in jeopardy, and his family, especially his young son, Lamar Odom Jr., is understandably concerned. In fact, Odom Jr. recently offered a plea to his father to get clean.
“Lamar Jr. was in tears when he told [Odom] he wants him to be around for the births of his future children and how he wants him to be a grandfather to them and teach them how to play basketball,” a family source told Hollywood Life. “[Odom] promised his son he’s not going anywhere. [His] children are trying to play a huge role in his recovery to optimal health. They’re slowly talking to him hoping he’ll clean up his life.”
Days ago, Lamar Odom made headlines after it was reported that he had been kicked off an airplane after getting drunk and vomiting on himself. A short time later, a photo of Odom’s empty seat with vomit on the floor was shared on social media.

In addition to Lamar Odom’s reported struggles with substance abuse, the former athlete may be headed for financial hardship as he continues to spend frivolously.
“[Lamar Odom is] spending bandz on bandz like he has an endless bank account. At the rate he’s going he’s going to be broke,” another source close to Odom told Hollywood Life. “He’s surrounding himself with all of his day ones and it’s quite the party when they’re all kicking it. He feels he’s invincible. He’s depressed because Khloe’s [Kardashain] leaving him. He’s sad he’s not in the NBA. Everyone tells him he’s going down the same road that left him unconscious in Vegas.”
Lamar Odom suffered a drug overdose on October 13, 2015, and for days, he was in a coma. Throughout the first several of hours of his time in the hospital, doctors feared the worst as a number of his organs continued to fail. However, days after he was admitted to the Sunrise Hospital, Odom woke up and was transferred to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he remained for three months.
Once Lamar Odom exited the facility, things between him and his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, appeared to be going well, and while they did not confirm any plans to reconcile, they were seen discussing the idea during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians earlier this year. On the show, the former couple joked about ending their marriage for good, as it has been tainted, and starting fresh with a new marriage — and a wedding.
Weeks later, any chance of a reconciliation has been lost, and in late May, Kardashian refiled documents to divorce Lamar Odom.
Lamar Odom has yet to comment on his upcoming divorce from the 32-year-old reality star.
