Is JoJo Fletcher's Bachelorette romance already over?
The reality star was seen filming in Mexico for Bachelor in Paradise just last month, sparking questions about her involvement in the series.
According to International Business Times, Bachelor in Paradise finished production earlier this month. Before filming wrapped, however, Fletcher was sighted at a resort with other contestants of the show.
"JoJo was at the Grand Luxxe [Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico]," an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly.
The Grand Luxxe served as the backdrop for the Fantasy Suite dates. Fletcher was reportedly staying there while other contestants were at the Hotel Playa Escondida.
"The contestants were staying at Hotel Playa Escondida in nearby Sayulita, but they had their dates and Fantasy Suite nights at our hotel, the Grand Luxxe," the insider continued. "It was strange that JoJo was there since she's supposed to be engaged!"
The biggest question remaining is whether or not Fletcher was filming Bachelor in Paradise because her relationship with Jordan Rodgers is over.
Not only does Rodgers have a sketchy past with women, but his motivations for being on the show have been questioned. Many suspect that Rodgers is using the show to promote his name and gain better chances of starring on The Bachelor.
According to Inquisitr, Fletcher's situation got more complicated because she fell in love with two of her suitors, just like Ben Higgins on The Bachelor.
As fans will recall, Higgins loved Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell, though he chose the latter in the end.
"She was torn between the final two guys," a source told the outlet. "She kept crying and crying because she didn't know what to do."
Despite her indecision, the insider revealed that JoJo Fletcher will be proposed to in the finale. In fact, the final contestant will hand her a Neil Lane diamond for an engagement ring.
"The runner-up got down on one knee and tried to propose to JoJo, but she turned him down," the source explained. "It was so embarrassing for him, but she went with her gut. Even then she kept wondering if she was making a mistake."
It isn't known who Fletcher rejected in the finale, and whether or not she got engaged to her final pick. Rodgers may be the runner-up she turned down, though it is too early to tell.
Of course, there is another reason why Fletcher may have been spotted filming for Bachelor in Paradise.
Movie News Guide is reporting that producers may have simply invited Fletcher to appear on the show as a special guest. Fletcher may have been there to provide some advice for the contestants of the show as they try to find love on reality TV.
Former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars have appeared on Bachelor in Paradise for similar reasons.
Sean and Catherine Lowe, as well as Jason and Molly Mesnick, have appeared as guests on the show. Both couples shared their advice and experiences in finding the perfect match.
This could be the reason why Fletcher was spotted on set, though the fact that she was there alone is interesting.
The Bachelorette's season finale is scheduled to air August 1 on ABC, while Bachelor in Paradise's new season will premiere a day later.
