Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Over, Pitt Flirting With Jennifer Aniston? No Way

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s marriage has certainly been all over the internet for the last couple of weeks. Plenty of rumors and hearsay suggesting that the married couple is in crisis mode, getting ready for a multi-million dollar divorce and even rumors of Brad cheating on Angie with actress Marion Cotillard.

Thankfully, these internet rumors have all, so far, proven to be untrue. And this week we got another example pointing to just how false all of these rumors are. Among these Jolie-Pitt rumors, was the claim that Brad Pitt was reaching out to ex Jennifer Aniston after the passing of her mother to send his condolences – and this allegedly terrified Jolie who assumed he would rekindle a romance with Aniston.

The news of the possibility of a Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston romance spread all over the internet. This rumor was concocted by In Touch recently, according to one of their sources.

“It was their first moment in months without the kids or staff around,” their source told them. “Angie thought a good one-on-one conversation would enable them to finally catch up on their lives. Then, Brad Pitt casually mentioned that he’d reached out to Jen to send his sympathy after her mom passed away in May. He didn’t think it was a big deal.”

The source added that this information “was akin to Brad dropping a nuclear bomb,” as far as Angelina was concerned. “She was furious they’d reunited.”

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are not getting back together. Aniston recently wrote a pretty honest and scathing letter addressing all of the tabloid headlines and rumors about whether or not she is pregnant with her husband Justin Theroux’s child.

Jennifer certainly wasn’t holding anything back in this piece she wrote for Huffington Post on Tuesday.

“For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up,” the Friends actress wrote in the beginning of her post.

Aniston then went on to criticize how these sensationalized headlines condition how we think of women and how we treat women, while also just condemning this whole culture of female celebrity-obsession in general. From what she wrote, there is no reason to believe that Jen and Brad are having any kind of fling behind Angie’s back.

Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston’s “explosive showdown” is just another perfect example of the kind of sensationalized tabloids Jennifer was talking about. The story sets up these two famous women fighting one another over the affection of a man – that man being Brad Pitt.

Jen and Justin Theroux’s marriage was even called into question when sources claimed that “Jen’s been having marriage problems with Justin Theroux.” The whole story certainly seems more juicy given the fact that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were once married and one of the most talked about celebrity couples in Hollywood.

In Touch Weekly also wrote multiple articles “confirming” Jennifer Aniston’s pregnancy. They allegedly had “doctors” confirm the news for them. Pictures of Jen and Justin on vacation in the Bahamas triggered all sorts of “baby bump” headlines.

“It looks as though she could be between two and four months pregnant,” according to one of the doctors. Another one allegedly told In Touch, “The telltale signs are the isolation of the weight gain in the abdomen and the lack of weight gain in the legs, arms and buttock region.”

It’s important to note that this so-called confirmed pregnancy was not at all mentioned in the posts about this fictional war between Angie and Jen. If she were pregnant, that would certainly be a relevant point to bring up.

Lately, it seems like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, along with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, have been two of the most written about Hollywood couples in the last several months. Both couples also like keeping things pretty close to the chest when it comes to their marriage.
