Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Would Have Loved To Play For The Arizona Cardinals

Bruce Arians has become one of the best head coaches in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, and the future couldn’t be brighter for them. He has a unique offensive mind and is one of the best coaches in the league when it comes to preparation and motivating his players. There are even celebrities who don’t play in the NFL that would have loved to play for Arians if they had made it to the NFL.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson opened up about wanting to play for Arians and how he would have loved to do so.

Johnson took to his personal Twitter account to talk about Arians, and it is just yet another reason many view Arians as the coolest coach in the league.

Arians has been able to build the Cardinals into a serious Super Bowl contender over the past few years. They lost in the NFC Championship game to the Carolina Panthers last year and are widely expected to make even more improvements this season.

Why did Johnson hashtag the “no risk it” and “no biscuit” quotes in his tweet? Quite simply, Arians is well-known for loving to take a risk with his play-calling. He has no problem taking a risk and it has paid off for him a lot.

Johnson played college football for the Miami Hurricanes before heading down a different career path. He was part of the national championship winning team in 1991 and also played in the CFL. No doors seemed to open for him in the NFL, which ended up working out very well for Johnson when everything was said and done.

It is certainly interesting to think about what kind of NFL career Johnson would have had. He is one of the most physically intimidating people in sports, and there is no question that he had the work ethic to make it work at the next level. His skill-set left a little to be desire, but perhaps a role could have been carved out for him.

Instead, Johnson has had an impressive career as both a professional wrestler and as an actor. He has become one of the most popular entertainment figures in the world.

If this endorsement doesn’t further cement Arians as one of the best coaches in the NFL, no endorsement will.

This also makes you wonder what other celebrities would like to play in the NFL and which teams or coaches they would like to play for. Johnson is far from the only celebrity who has a rich history in football.

On another note, the Cardinals have put together an impressive roster for the 2016 NFL season. Arians has to be excited to see if his team can take the next step into Super Bowl 51. He will have to get past teams like the Panthers, Green Bay Packers, and Seattle Seahawks, but he is more than ready to take on the challenge.

Needless to say, it will be interesting to see if Arians responds to Johnson’s tweet. He has been known to have a sense of humor in situations like this and offering the wrestler and actor an invite to training camp would be a perfect ending to the story. It would be even more interesting to see if Johnson would accept the offer if it was given to him.

All of that being said, Johnson will have a lot to cheer about this season when it comes to Arians and the Cardinals.
