Dakota Johnson Ignores Jake Gyllenhaal Rumors, Films ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ In Bikini

Dakota Johnson has been unlucky in love. She finally broke things off with her on-and-off again boyfriend, Matthew Hitt, in early June and now is focusing on filming Fifty Shades Darker. But it looks like her blast from the past, Jake Gyllenhaal, is unwilling to let the past go.

Despite the fact that the rumors about Jake Gyllenhaal wanting to spark things up with her, Dakota Johnson has been resolutely focused on shooting the movie in the new location – France!

Dakota prioritized her current work project, the honeymoon scene in Fifty Shades Darker, over caring too much about the rumors going around that her ex-boyfriend wants her back.

“Dakota Johnson flaunted her fabulous figure once again as she enjoyed a dip in the sea in-between filming for the movie’s sequel, Fifty Shades Darker,” reports the Daily Mail. “The 26-year-old sizzled in a barely-there lemon bikini, which left very little to the imagination, as she joined co-star Jamie Dornan and his wife on the pebbled bay in France.”

According to some die-hard Fifty Shades Darker fans, this particular scene that she is shooting with her bikini on is the honeymoon scene.

The production is now in its fourth month of filming, having started in mid-March. The Fifty Shades Darker cast and crew moved to France this week from their original location Vancouver, Canada, to continue with the parts of the movie that happen abroad.

Getting out of the states might be the best thing for Dakota right now. Ever since her breakup with Matthew Hitt, she has been laying low in Canada, working on the film and hanging out with Amelia Warner, co-star Jamie Dornan’s wife, who moved with her babies so that the family can stay together.

Especially with Jake Gyllenhaal suddenly getting interested in Dakota again, it might be safe that she is busy with her work.

This rumor started right after the 35-year-old actor was spotted with Rooney Mara. That sparked a whole slew of speculations on whether Rooney and Jake were dating, but that quickly died down when the fans found out that they were on a walk with her long-time boyfriend Charlie McDowell.

What came next was a surprise.

“Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly determined to win ex-love Dakota Johnson back,” reports the Belfast Telegraph. “The Hollywood couple went their separate ways five years ago, but have apparently reunited for a romantic date following Dakota’s split from boyfriend Matthew Hitt.”

This was a shocker to Dakota’s fans as it was Jake that broke off their short-lived relationship in the first place.

“Even though it was just a fling, Dakota had really strong feelings for him so when he dumped her out of the blue, she was really shocked,” a source said, according to the Belfast Telegraph. “But it was all because Jake freaked out, as he’s a bit of a commitment-phobe.”

And now, according to the article, he is “not taking no for an answer” and is eager to arrange a date night in New York.

That might not pan out so well logistically seeing how the 26-year-old actress is in France. For now, Dakota seems more than happy to be at peace by herself enjoying the seaside.

Plus, she has many more hot scenes to film with Jamie Dornan (aka Christian Grey). The last time that they were caught doing a romantic moment in the film, they seemed pretty into it.

“Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were spotted kissing on the Vancouver set of the Fifty Shades films on Monday,” reports the Daily Mail. “During the kissing scene, Jamie, who plays Christian Grey, placed his hands on Dakota’s waist and leaned in for a smooch.”
