'Teen Mom 2': Kailyn Lowry's Son Hospitalized

Kailyn Lowry's son, Isaac, was hospitalized on Sunday.

As Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, prepare to part ways after less than four years of marriage, the Teen Mom 2 star found herself in the hospital with her 6-year-old, who reportedly experienced a high fever after a trip to the movies.

"He had a really high fever so [Kailyn Lowry] just wanted to get it checked out rather than wait for the doctor to be open today," a source close to the reality star told Radar Online on July 11. "He's home and fine now."

Kailyn Lowry is mom to 6-year-old Isaac, from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera, and 2-year-old Lincoln, from her marriage to Marroquin, which she announced had come to an end in May.

Kailyn Lowry and her husband tied the knot in 2012 and throughout the next few years, their marital struggles were chronicled on episodes of Teen Mom 2. During Season 6, fans watched as the couple often bickered over Kailyn Lowry's friendships with other men, and during Season 7, Marroquin accused Lowry of communicating with one of those men during a FaceTime call while he was deployed.

Although Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin seemed to get through their Season 6 issues, their Season 7 issues were far too much to cope with, and by the time filming was complete, things between them had come to an end.

Last month, during the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion, Kailyn Lowry spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky about the end of her marriage, which was reportedly prompted by her 2015 miscarriage.

"He was not helpful, not sympathetic," Kailyn Lowry recalled of the fallout, according to a report by Us Weekly at the time. "I think he was going through it on his own, but we didn't know how to help each other."

"In my mind, I knew it wasn't her fault," Marroquin admitted. "I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That's where our marriage kinda started going downhill."

As Kailyn Lowry and her husband prepare to divorce, fans everywhere have been wondering how Isaac will handle the news.

"That's a huge reason why I think we're still together," Kailyn Lowry said. "Because Isaac, I mean he calls Javi 'dad.' So yeah, that plays a big factor. I think about my mom … I probably had about eight stepdads as a kid."

"He's my best friend. I want to be in this marriage," Marroquin said. "I want all of us to be together. But her mind is set, and when her mind is set, there's no changing it."

Once Marroquin returns home from his deployment, which is expected to happen soon, he will be moving out of the home he once shared with Kailyn Lowry and into a place of his own.

"It's hard to think of the fact that maybe I could be happier without him. It's a really hard pill to swallow," Kailyn Lowry said.

However, while Marroquin confirmed he was not on board with a divorce, Lowry simply has no interest in staying in her marriage and feels she and Marroquin are simply too different.

"As of right now, no [I don't want to be in this marriage]," Kailyn Lowry said. "I don't feel like we're on the same page. I don't think we have the same goals and views … He's saying it too late. You wanna change when it's too late."
