Kathryn Edwards decided to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she thought it could be a fun experience. However, after just one season, fans attacked Kathryn for telling stories that were told to her in confidence. Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were so harsh towards Edwards that she ended up deleting her social media accounts for a period of time. Despite returning to social media, Kathryn isn't planning on returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And it sounds like her husband is quite happy with her decision.
According to a new Bravo report, Kathryn Edwards recently revealed that she's leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after just one season. The other housewives are already filming the show, but several wives have considered leaving the show behind. Yolanda Hadid announced her departure just a few weeks ago and Lisa Vanderpump had considered leaving the show. Now, Kathryn is announcing her exit.
It sounds like Edwards had fun filming the show with her family and friends, but she's decided to leave the show behind. And it makes sense, as Kathryn didn't really contribute too much to the show. One of the biggest things that happened throughout the season was Edwards getting her hearing device. And it was something that meant a lot to her, but didn't really add to the overall story of the other ladies.
"I feel really good walking away that I was able to get to a lot of people as far as my hearing device," Kathryn continued in her statement, adding, "I still get messages on Facebook and Instagram from people who got the hearing device that I have and it's changed their life. That's been great. I love hearing those stories."
It sounds like Kathryn's husband may have played a role in her decision to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills behind. In her statement where she announced she was leaving the show, Edwards revealed that her husband is happy to have his wife back. While he was more than supportive when she joined the show, he may have seen how the negative experience influenced her and how she was upset about her social media backlash.
"He's happy to have his wife back! He was so supportive of me trying it out, but it definitely changed our lives last year. Not to say it wasn't great, but it was different! It will be nice to reconnect and get back to our lives," Kathryn Edwards revealed in her statement, according to Bravo.
