Kim Kardashian Confirms Kanye West Shot “Highlights” Video In Iceland During KUWTK Episode

Back in April this year, several photos emerged of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in Iceland. The latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) confirms that Yeezy was shooting the Highlights video.

Kim Kardashian stated that the reason for the Iceland trip was to shot a video. Although she did not mention the song by name, a big hint reveals that the song is in fact Highlights.

Complex reports what was said during the KUWTK episode that aired last night.

“Though the show never mentions the name of the song that Kanye is filming for, Kourtney Kardashian says it’s for her “favorite song.” Not too long after the album dropped, Kourtney revealed that her favorite track from “The Life of Pablo” was Highlights.”

Kanye West’s new album, The Life of Pablo,” has a music video for Famous, which went viral. The controversial video stars apparent wax figures of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ray J, Donald Trump and George W Bush. It is unclear whether Kanye will turn it up a notch or turn it down for the next video.

The song features Young Thug, but it is unclear whether the Atlanta rapper would make an appearance in the video as he is not seen in any photographs from Kanye West trip to Iceland. However, The Dream was photographed in Iceland with Kim and Kanye.

The only details Kim Kardashian revealed about the Highlights video is that it was shot on a glacier that was only accessible via helicopter. Kim is expected to make an appearance in the video. She previously starred in Kanye’s Bound 2 video, in which she appears nude with Kanye West.

According to US Magazine, Kanye West was upset with Kim Kardashian for ditching him to hang out with Kourtney.

“Kanye got mad at Kim because she flaked on his video shoot to hang with Kourtney. According to Kim, her husband was ‘disappointed,’ and the vibe was definitely pouty. ‘He’s annoyed that I didn’t see him perform. So, today was my fault,’ Kim told her friends. “We flew all the way out here for him, and I did say from the beginning my number-one priority is the video.”

Kanye West announced the Saint Pablo Tour last month. The 29-city tour will be performed mostly in arenas around the United States, including L.A.’s Forum and New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The eccentric rapper does not tour often despite selling out most of his shows. Kanye West updated his album “The Life of Pablo” several times after the initial release. Highlights was one of the songs that was updated.

He declared the album, which he initially released exclusively on Tidal, as a “living breathing changing creative expression.”

In a recent interview, Kanye West talked about Kim Kardashian, the album, and his legacy:

“It’s just the truth — I’m ‘Ye, man. Ain’t nothing else you can do about it. If I had tried to be somebody else my entire life, I wouldn’t be here today. I’m a champion. I’m a winner. I came to do this. I came to do what I did. I innovated. This is my truth. When I look in the mirror and I think it, this is some Michael Jackson levels. I got to pinch myself sometimes. Can you believe it — it’s actually me? Here? Think about when Drake and Justin Bieber lost at the Grammy’s, they were like ‘Where’s Kanye when you need him?’ You need someone like me in the game. You need someone who’s not watered down. I’m 38 years old, ladies and gentlemen. They put me in debt. They assassinated my character. I’m not a bad person… People need that. We all controlled by a lack of self-worth. We are taught not to love ourselves… People should love themselves. I love you like I love me.”
